The Picnic House in Prospect Park is a charming and historic building in the heart of Brooklyn's premier park. With scenic views of the 90-acre Long Meadow, outdoor spaces for ceremonies and cocktails, floor-to-ceiling windows, hardwood floors and a working wood fireplace, it provides a bucolic setting for your perfect day. The Picnic House can be tailored for every taste and budget, and is a blank canvas to create the ideal wedding no matter what the season. Before it became our beloved event venue, the historic Crystal Plaza was originally a residential mansion. The initial Livingston, New Jersey-based residence was built in the late 1800s by famed architect Stanford White, who was responsible for designing the Tiffany building on Fifth Avenue, the original Madison Square Garden complex among other landmark structures. While the restored building has since been reincarnated as one of the leading wedding and event spaces in the tri-state area, it still maintains the feeling of its 19th century grandeur. Birchwood Manor has a total of 10 event spaces available. Guests will immediately be greeted by a dramatic spiral staircase in the venue’s lobby. The Jefferson Ballroom is perfect for your reception. Hosting up to 300 guests, it offers an elegant setting for an extravagant affair. The room features one-of-a-kind, hand-painted frescos, a beveled mirror wall, tall bay windows and 11-foot ceilings. The Grand Ballroom is the largest room available. Accommodating up to 800 guests, the space is breathtaking with its four magnificent crystal chandeliers and large dance floor. Outside the venue, couples can take advantage of the picturesque grounds for their ceremony, including a gazebo, fountains and enchanting gardens.

The building dates back to 1837, a three-level structure which was built by William Nelson. Peekskill lawyer, Congressman, and friend to Abraham Lincoln. A small stage, built on the 3rd floor in 1870, was identified as the “Dramatic Hall.” This emblematic building had been abandoned for about 20 years and fallen into disrepair until 2012, a complete renovation took place restoring the 1870-era theater. The Dramatic Hall serves as a space to host weddings, private parties, plays, live music performances, and more.

Open Farmhouse is located on 300 acres of protected land in Redding, Connecticut. Just an hour and a half drive from New York City, it’s easily accessible by car or short shuttle from metro north. As part of a working farm, guests experience farm fresh produce, bucolic views and engagement with the land. Built in 1840, the historic Federal Style house sits at the center of the farm, with sweeping views of the surrounding fields and forests. Restored true to its era, it’s a grand yet inviting space for gatherings of 10 to 50 people. Five private bedrooms provide a good night’s sleep, with simple furnishings and comfortable mattresses. Constructed soon after the Great Fire of 1902, The United Bank Building was built to house two banks whose previous buildings had been destroyed, New Milford Savings Bank and the New Milford First National Bank. The two banks immediately organized to rebuild, quickly agreeing in principal to build a joint facility on the site of the New England House, a locally well known tavern and inn located at the corner of Bank and Main Street. For most of its life, the building had been used in some form of a bank, but had been largely under-used in recent decades, and had fallen into disrepair. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982 and taken over by Village Green Investments in 2015. After 9 months of renovations, the building became 19Main. Throughout renovations, we strived for modern amenities with historic elegance; three vaults remain from the building’s former bank days.
