I fell in love with taking pictures at a very young age when I received my first film camera as a gift from my parents and have been obsessed ever since. I moved to New York City from a small town in Pennsylvania when I was 18 years old to study fine art and photography at Parsons School of Design. After college I was awarded a Fulbright grant to spend a year and a half photographing life on the Greek island of Kythera. When I returned to New York I decided to start a wedding photography business that would incorporate my fine art background with a photojournalistic style of shooting, and FOTOVOLIDA was born.
