Do you work with assistants or other photographers?

It takes two to make a thing go right! Having one more camera adds alternative angles and supports the lead photographer. Another benefit is helping fill gaps in your timeline. Example: The second can grab cocktail hour shots as the lead finishes family portraits. Adding another photographer starts at +$450 Occasionally I'll bring an assistant, depending on the size of your wedding. Don't worry, this won't cost you extra.

Question 2

Will you edit all our pictures?

Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I make a black-and-white copy of about 20% of your gallery. Editing includes light, natural skin and teeth retouching. Extra editing including in-depth skin retouching, removing or inserting of objects may require outsourcing and additional costs.

How many pictures will we get?

Accepted Answer

You can expect about 80 to 100 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.

How far in advance should we book you for our wedding?

Accepted Answer

Typically, couples book me about 13 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame. However, if you're wedding is coming up soon please don't hesitate to check my availability.

Question 5

What’s your back-up plan if you can’t photograph our wedding as planned?

Luckily I have never cancelled a booking. It would take an extreme emergency, illness or act of god for me to cancel a wedding. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement. This is one of the rare occasions where the non-refundable retainer would be paid back in full if you decide not to go with the replacement photographer.

Do you offer sliding scale or payment plans.

Yes! Accessibility is important to me. I believe every love story deserves documentation. I offer sliding scale pricing to three clients each quarter. This is reserved for clients who connect with my work but paying for wedding photography would cause extreme financial hardship. What is the booking process?

1. Send us a message, letting us know what date you want to book a photo session and tell us a little bit about yourself. 2. Let’s talk over the phone, Zoom or coffee! We’ll figure out what photo package fits your needs best. 3. Sign a contract and pay your 25% retainer. 4. It’s finally the day of your photo session! Bring your smile and we’ll take care of the rest. If you haven’t already paid the remaining balance, it is due before your photo session. 7 days for weddings, and 1 for portrait sessions. 5. Enjoy your photos!

Where do you offer services?

We are based in Boulder, so our main area is Boulder County and Denver Metro. However, we are always down for a roadtrip. Tell us where your wedding/dream photoshoot is located, and we’ll go over travel compensation.

Question 9

When will I receive my photos?

Accepted Answer

I deliver portrait/engagement sessions within 2 weeks. Weddings take 3-5 weeks. I send some sneak peeks within the 1st or 2nd week.

Question 10

Do you offer print services?

Accepted Answer

You can prints directly through the same link for your online gallery. A professional third-party printing company can print all sorts of goods including canvases, cards and album books.

Question 11

Do you sell raw files/unedited images?

Accepted Answer

Sorry, we do not sell raws. For us, it’s like delivering a half baked cake. You deserve the whole dang cake.

Question 12

Can I bring my dog/pet to our photoshoot or wedding?

Accepted Answer

Answer is always YES! I love working with couples and their fur babies. However, I can't speak on behalf of the location or venue. Check with them on their pet policy.
