We recently had our wedding at the Barn and were blown away by the overall experience! The Barn is in a beautiful location surrounded by wildflowers, rolling green hills, and one of the most stunning and unique views of Mount Mansfield, capturing a true Vermont landscape. The Barn property is well-kept and private. The ceremony site is beautiful, with an amazing backdrop, a fantastic patio that helps create that indoor-outdoor experience, and a sprawling lawn. The Barn itself is very bright and filled with natural light, even on a cloudy day. The decor (Farmtables, chairs, doors, exposed beams) provide a Vermont chic vibe. Jenn, Jamie, and Steve were phenomenal to work with. They put in so much hard work to make our wedding personal and special. They carried out our vision with every detail. They are highly organized, responsive (quick to reply to calls, emails, text), and positive. From the moment we booked to our wedding day, they made the planning process incredibly smooth and fun. The Barn works with and recommends a fantastic group of local vendors (Jesse Schloff Photography, Heaven Scent floral, Wedding DJVT, and Sugar Snap). On our wedding day, the Barn made the day stress-free by being extremely attentive, organized, positive, and excited. They were incredibly flexible and responsive to our needs and wants. We trusted the Barn to keep everything running smoothly and on time with very little management from us. From start to finish, the Barn was always accommodating: allowing us to do a personal tour of the venue, letting family in the area swing by to see the space, and being able to drop off decorations early and pick everything up a day later post-wedding. They were always willing to work with us and respond to our needs which was greatly appreciated as it was a destination for us. From the moment we spoke to Jenn and saw the Barn (Video tour), we knew this was the place we wanted to get married, and we were never disappointed along the way. The Barn is one of the most beautiful locations and venues for a wedding in Vermont! We couldn't recommend the Barn, Jenn, Steve, and Jamie more. We are so happy to be a part of the Barn family!

I officiate the first wedding held on the upper vista deck. This venue offers a gorgeous backdrop of the sun setting on Lake Champlain and the Adirondack Mountains. After the ceremony the couple and wedding party went to the water's edge (50 yards away) for private photos. The staff made things run smoothly arranging chair and table set up. They provided rooms on the second floor for the couple to prepare before the ceremony and there was ample parking.

Intervale Center

5.0

Burlington, VT
  • Up to 200 guests
  • Raw space
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $1,250

Located just a mile from downtown Burlington, the Intervale Center's renovated 1860s Community Barn offers a convenient, rustic, and picturesque setting for your special day. Say your “I do’s” in a quaint ceremony outside on the venue’s gorgeous green grounds surrounded by stunning trees, bushes, and of course, your happy loved ones.

I love the Intervale Center, it is so beautiful! I knew that by choosing to get married there in July, we could really cut back on our decorations and let the landscaped grounds really shine. This venue is very conveniently located to Burlington, VT, but doesn't feel like you're in a city. It feels quiet and somewhat secluded. The rental/site fee was very affordable (and what you pay goes to a good cause!) and their guide book/post-booking-brochure is really helpful. They provide tables and chairs which are probably ample if you are having a small shindig, though you will likely want to cover the tables as they are not very pretty! Or you can always rent tables and chairs at additional cost. Most of what they offer is very DIY, so get some friends together (we set up in less than an hour with our friends). Our wedding here was pretty low-key with about 40 guests, but I think this could work for more formal gatherings too. My top of mind words to describe it would be "Pretty, local, affordable".

our vibe is old new england meets northern california meets a flower market meets a farmers market meets a warm, vibrant community. wool, wood, leather, copper, natural fibers and rich colors are the look. palo santo, pine and wild sage our smell. we like our guests to engage all 5 senses when they’re here to soak it all up. our food is impeccably sourced from local farms, producers, vendors & makers and ranchers. we’re entirely committed to quality and keeping our food simple and rustic. we want you to feel like you’re going to a big dinner party at your friend’s house who also happens to be the best cook and host you know. our inn is restored and reimagined from it’s 1790’s bones. we embrace the quirks, character and eccentricities of this old beautiful building. if you love to live off the beaten path, be transported to a simpler time, are inspired by texture and the elements, well - you might never want to leave.

Planning our microwedding at the Tillerman was such a lovely and low-stress experience, and our wedding day could not have been more perfect. We were able to customize our day to be uniquely ours, without being overwhelmed with choices or having to book extra vendors. The Barn at the Tillerman is such a beautiful venue for a reception, the fire pit was a huge hit with our guests, and it was so nice to walk back to our room in the inn, exhausted, and fall into the most comfortable bed with lovely linens. We left the menu and dessert menus completely up to the Tillerman and were blown away by the quality and quantity of fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented food. We customized our bar offerings, decided on a long family style table set-up, and left the rest up to the Tillerman. Kenzie was amazing, supportive and prompt in every way, and was how we knew a microwedding at the Tillerman was right for us. We envisioned a romantic and whimsical day of celebration with our closest friends and family and the Tillerman delivered, keeping the entire experience stress free and for a very reasonable cost. Thank you so much to Kenzie, Kate and Jason, Kelsey, and the entire staff at the Tillerman for giving us the best wedding day.

  • Starts at $5,000

Set sail with Waterfront Cruises, a yacht venue hosting weddings on one of two boats in the Lake George, New York area. Couples looking for a waterfront wedding can't get much closer to the water than aboard one of these ships, which have space for ceremonies and dining alike. These venues set sail from the southern shores of Lake George, conveniently located right off of I-87. Facilities and Capacity Couples can choose to celebrate their special day on one of two boats, which can hold as many as 400 guests. The Horicon, Waterfront Cruises’ wooden yacht stretching an impressive 85 feet long, shines with two glass-enclosed decks. The larger boat, the Adirondac, is a 115 luxury cruise ship trimmed with mahogany and cedar along all three decks and modeled after late 19th century touring ships. For couples seeking a waterfront venue but not quite sure of their sea legs, the Restaurant’s private deck hosts smaller and more intimate affairs.

We had our dream wedding reception aboard the Adirondac! The staff, decor, food and experience was one our guests are still raving about, years later. The photos are perfection... we absolutely loved this venue!!

Forest Lake Camp

Chestertown, NY
  • Up to 250 guests
  • Select services
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $10,000

When you decide to celebrate your wedding with us, you will have a 823-acre property, 25 acre private lake, 20 miles of private hiking and biking trails, the athletic fields and all camp buildings exclusively available to you and your guests, you also have the beauty and majesty of the Adirondack Park surrounding you. Located an hour north of Albany and just a 10 minute drive from either the south or north exit on I-87 we are perfectly located for your guests to find but also hidden away at the end of a private road, giving you a secluded, private experience. Plus you have the opportunity to design how you will spend your time on the property.

Our wedding weekend at FLC: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SZQxgrn833c | Getting married at Forest Lake Camp was the best decision we've ever made! We wanted to get married in the mountains, but still have a full wedding reception with our friends and family and a rocking band (The New York Players). FLC gave us the ability to have it all -- and over an entire weekend! We kicked off our wedding weekend with a relay race down at the lake (highly recommend this as an ice breaker! Our guests were all friendly by the time we made it to the Friday BBQ.) Chapel View was absolutely stunning for our ceremony site and the dining hall looked beautiful for dinner. We rented a tent for the band and dance floor on the patio and had the time of our lives dancing and celebrating all night. The afterparty location at the dance pavilion was perfect as well. We brought in a wood fired pizza truck (Orapello's) that kept everyone fed and happy until the late, late hours of the night. It's the absolute perfect spot for an outdoorsy couple with friends and family that are ready to embrace the adventure of a rustic setting and nontraditional venue. We loved it all. Also, Carlos is a superhero -- I don't think that man slept a wink our entire weekend. We are so grateful for the whole staff & can't wait to return for alumni weekend for years to come!
