Meaghan has been a photographer for over 10 years. After graduating in 2004 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Photography from Rochester Institute of Technology, she took masters level courses in design and motion graphics while implementing these skills in the freelance market. In 2007 she moved to Portland Oregon, while there she worked at a studio as well as a camera store while continuing to build her portfolio. These jobs allowed her to further her knowledge of lighting and equipment, as well as introducing her to some very talented and inspiring individuals.

I was born on Long Island, but my dad was in the Navy, so we moved 11 times during my childhood – including Chicago, D.C., Hawaii, London, Mississippi, New Orleans, and San Diego, Basically, I have a compulsive need to travel and create, a deep appreciation for planning, systems, and communication, plus the ability to make friends wherever I go – skills that have served me well in my career as a wedding photographer (thanks dad!) After photographing my first wedding 10 years ago, I immediately knew it would be my career. I love that I get to travel, meet, and photograph so many amazing people on the best day of their lives.
