The Hotel John Marshall opened in 1929 as the largest hotel in Virginia. Its rooms welcomed Elizabeth Taylor, Mary Tyler Moore, and Elvis Presley along with political figures such as Presidents Nixon, Ford, and Carter. After sitting vacant for over 20 years (save a few attempts to open) the building recently underwent an $80 Million renovation, spanning two years of construction to strip it back to the bones and restore it to its original 1920's grandeur.

At Two Rivers CC we guide you through the entire planning process from start to finish, and coordinate with your vendors. We instruct your ceremony rehearsal, and on day of your wedding we run the full-service operation from set up to break down so that you can enjoy your special celebration with family and friends. We have a preferred vendor list of amazing photographers, florists, hair & makeup artists and more that we love to work with, however you are not limited to that list and can recruit your own licensed vendors of choice. Many of our Brides and Grooms choose to spend the whole day on property, getting ready in our bridal party lounges.

The Estate at River Run offers a dream setting to host a variety of elegant affairs. High on a bluff towering over the James River, this exquisite Georgian Revival offers 16,000 square feet of opulence, built by Taylor and Parrish Construction from 1981-1987. This stately Georgian features an upper brick promenade surrounded by a limestone balustrade and opens to a double curved staircase to the lower terrace. The mansion's interior boasts extravagant architectural embellishment.
