We had our wedding at the Castle in the Clouds this past October, and oh my goodness they did not disappoint. First off, those views are incredible!! Everybody was commenting on how this was the most beautiful wedding venue they’ve ever been to! (You’ll also get some wonderful sunset and golden hour photos!) Second, the staff there is amazing!! From the wedding coordinators to the set up crews and staff that helps your wedding day go smoothly, they were all absolutely amazing! I was a little worried that all of the little details wouldn’t work out, but the Castle staff made everything happen and then some!! They exceeded my expectations and I’m so impressed!! If you can, please get married here!!! It will be the best decision you’ll ever make!

I attended a wedding at the Watson Homestead in November. I had so much fun and it was so beautiful I told my boyfriend if we were ever to get married I would want it to be there. I loved the outside ceremony with the wedding arbor and flowers and then dinner and dancing in the barn with the beautiful lights and elegant decorations but still a relaxed feel. Lots of easy parking for guests also.

Growing up in Kennebunkport we had high expectations for our wedding at The Colony. Of course, the venue speaks for itself as the perfect backdrop for any wedding. No one will question that The Colony offers the best grounds and views for a wedding held in Kennebunkport. Our wedding was 130 people and the lawn (ceremony), front porch (cocktail hour), and ballroom (reception) were all great spaces for our guests. Our wedding day far exceeded our expectations and was truly a magical day for us, our family, and our friends. What truly set this experience apart was our wedding coordinator, Nicole. Her dedication, creativity, and organization made the planning process seamless and enjoyable. She went above and beyond to ensure every detail was tailored to our vision. On the big day, we felt well prepared, and Nicole orchestrated everything flawlessly, allowing us to focus on enjoying each moment without any stress. We cannot thank her enough for the work put in to making the day perfect! Also of note, the food and drinks were exceptional, and we still have friends and family raving about the meal several months after the event (we went with the buffet option). We will happily recommend The Colony to anyone looking to have their special day in southern Maine!

My husband and I got married at the Barn on the Pemi on 5/31/24, which works closely with the Common Man Inn & Spa. We had our room block, rehearsal dinner, and after party at the Inn, but I'm here to rave about our experience with the Spa! After booking our venue, I spoke to the Inn about any accommodations or recommendations they might have for somewhere for myself and my bridesmaids to get ready the morning of the wedding. They actually have what they affectionately call the "Getting Ready Room," which can be reserved ahead of time. I saw some pictures, saw that the room had some nice natural light, floor to ceiling mirrors and salon chairs, so I figured it was our best bet. Come wedding week and I went down to the spa with my bridesmaid to see the room and the pictures definitely did not do it justice! The room is large with a sitting area with a couch, table and chairs in the middle and salon-style chairs and mirrors around the perimeter. Our hair and makeup stylists were THRILLED with the setup, since they are used to cramped, poorly-lit hotel rooms for wedding prep! I will let the pictures speak for themselves, but want to add one more thing. The night before the wedding, one of my nails (done at a salon back home) broke and popped off - nightmare! I kept the broken piece and brought it to the Spa the morning of the wedding to see if they could help. The Spa staff went above and beyond to make sure my nails looked perfect. One of their nail techs sat in front of my while I was having my makeup done, glued the nail piece back on, and put a top layer of the. white french tip and clear coat shellac over all of my nails to make sure they all looked the same. I would highly recommend the Spa Getting Ready Room for the morning of your wedding - the space and the staff are fantastic!

We could not have been happier with our decision to get married at Owl’s Nest. The entire staff is professional and will accommodate anyone’s needs. The facility itself is first class. Golf, tennis, pickleball, brand new onsite housing with more amenities to come. This is becoming one of the best resorts in all of New England. With weather on our side we were able to have the perfect ceremony overlooking the mountains behind us and the sunsetting in the background. Gorgeous view of the bay and portland harbor. It truly was a magical spot and I appreciated being able to customize my decor and use of outdoor space as needed. We recently held my sister's bridal shower at the Greenwood Manor Inn- and I cannot even begin to explain how incredible our experience was. Jill and her family are a magical bunch. They were some of the most genuine and kind souls that bring extra charm to the beautiful landscape of the inn. I began discussing the event with Jill a few months ago. From our first conversation, she won me over as the winner of our event space. The menu, space, and overall price were exactly what we were envisioning for the bridal shower. She was beyond excited and accommodating in planning the event alongside us. The day before the shower, we were able to drop off all of the supplies and explore the inn. The morning of the shower, the tables were all set up, and Jill took the time to making our simple plates into gorgeous place settings. For the shower, we enjoyed a brunch with a mimosa bar. Every single menu item was beyond delicious from the cowboy quiche (insanely delicious) to the apple pie french toast (to die for) to the fresh salad (refreshing and sweet). All 30 of our guests raved about the dishes and treats provided by Jill. My personal favorites were these tiny apple crumble bars and the freshest blueberry scones I've ever had. We were also able to bring in our own ice cream bar as our shower theme was "She's Been Scooped Up". Beyond the scrumptious pastries and spread, we had a picture perfect April day with clear skies, lots of sunshine, and warmth. The garden view from the patio was the perfect backdrop for the festivities. As each guest said their goodbyes, they complimented the enchanting atmosphere of every aspect of the inn. I would give a 10 star review if possible! I could not recommend this location more if I tried. Be sure to check out this charming getaway spot or event space. You will NOT regret it!!!

The landscape is like something out of a magazine and the tranquility of it is refreshing on a whole other level, getting immersed in the nature all around. The loons are my favorite part. The staff are some of the most friendliest, down-to-earth characters I have ever met and go above and beyond to make their guests (and vendors) experience exactly what they were hoping for. They strive to bring you the best of the best from local sources and supporting small businesses. Their food is top notch amazing. Their decor is a fun mix of both modern and rustic elements. The wedding setups will leave you breathless. Overall, this place feels like a beautiful escape that you wish was your second home.

My now husband and I had an amazing experience at Stonebridge! The venue is beautiful and Halley was wonderful. Very friendly, wicked quick with communication, and super thoughtful. She help me pick out colors and center pieces (which were perfect!) , that was really helpful and took all that stress off me. We had a pretty small wedding, about 20 people, and everyone had an amazing time. The staff was very professional and friendly. The chef was helpful and understanding of a couple of our picky eaters, both him and Halley worked with us to make sure everyone had something to eat that they like. Speaking of food, the food was awesome, even my husbands Italian grandfather loved it! I wouldn't have changed anything about that day 10/10 would recommend.

It is one week ago today that we experienced the most magical vow renewal event at the Chebeague Island Inn! This would have never happened if it wasn't for Caitlyn, Glen, Matt, and Jess at the Inn. Every detail, every morsel of food, to the timing and atmosphere was simply superb!! The rooms are beautifully quaint and cozy. The views were magnificent. And, ohhhh the sunset!!! The precision in all the details was key because it was a surprise kept for a very long time. I can not express in words how grateful we are. Our weekend could not have been more perfect! We are still talking about it and how your staff made us feel like family. They really went above and beyond my expectations!! And did I mention the views!!??

Marc was the best person I could ever hope to work with to create the wedding of my dreams. He was very responsive, professional, friendly and made the planning process a breeze! He coordinated with all of the vendors, made sure everyone understood the timeline and took care of all of the little details to ensure everything went smoothly. Him and his staff exceeded my expectations in creating the vision I had for our big day - it was absolutely stunning! My vision was a rustic & elegant style wedding - and they blew that out of the water, I received so many compliments on how beautifully everything was set up for our wedding! The staff were also extremely friendly and on the ball with everything, I am beyond impressed with the Westbrook Inn and their staff. The value that you get with the tent, bar, staff, chairs/tables, set up/break down, coordination and so much more is extremely rare to find around here. They recently hosted a micro wedding reception for my brother and also did a fantastic job. Needless to say, I will continue to use The Westbrook Inn for all our future special events - 10/10 would recommend!

I fell in love with Hyla Brook Estate in renderings when it wasn't even yet a dirt pile. From first shovel I followed along on the progress...I was so excited but of course nervous as I would be one of the first weddings to happen once the venue was complete. WOW did the gamble pay off! I don't even know where to begin. The ready rooms: so fun! I love that they have their own bathrooms and an area for snacks and hosting. One has barstools and makeup mirrors, perfect for getting ready. Each detail from the couches to the pillows and finishings was perfect! The outdoors: We had our ceremony & cocktail hour outside and it was perfect. Corn hole & fire pits included, our guests loved the ability to be outdoors on/off throughout the night. Later on we had smores & cigars for all to enjoy! The venue: WOW! the hand strung beads on the chandeliers, the high ceilings, the picture window, the entry, this venue is stunning. The photo ops: magical! wild flowers, the venue itself, the historical rock wall near the front gate. so many photo areas without having to leave! The service: Kim and her team were phenomenal from beginning to end. It was chaotic as the site went up, but they always did their best to prioritize us, ensure we were confident on the progress and that we felt supported. It was the little touches that went a long way! As someone who does weddings for a living, I have seen almost every venue in Boston and surrounding. I was overjoyed to showcase a new venue to my friends and family and so proud to have chosen Hyla Brook for my most-special day. It was a decision and a gamble that I will always be so grateful for.
