As a wedding planner, I would certainly do another wedding here! The staff, food and facility are top notch!

Wow. My wedding was a dream, Los willows is so beautiful and to be honest, photos of the venue do not do justice of how gorgeous the venue is in person. I also had a breeze planning my wedding with them! The wedding planner(Jennifer), dj(Shane), catering, photography/videography was all included in the all inclusive price! I got to pick if I wanted photography or videography for the included hours with the price! They are truly amazing and they made myself and my husbands special day very amazing. On the day of the wedding, Jennifer was so helpful and as the bride I was stress free. Thank you Los Willows!

I want to thank the staff and owner of Venue808. My husband and I recently had our wedding at this venue and first the place is amazing, it truly is a hidden gem. Our venue was absolutely gorgeous and exactly how we hoped and envisioned it would be for our special evening. The partitions were a game changer and definitely an extra special touch. Our guests had a plethora of compliments about all the different facets and how well every inch is utilized within the space. Also, all of the staff was amazing, from the start of our tour to the breakdown at the end of the wedding. The bartenders were especially awesome. We are also so happy we went with the wedding coordinator through the venue, Jillian. She was very friendly but still professional. She kept the night in a good flow and executed the transitions excellently considering ceremony, cocktail hour and reception were all in essentially the same space and she had 100 people to work around. She also made sure to check on us throughout the evening to make sure everything was good for us and if we needed anything. Overall, our experience was amazing, the venue was stunning and the evening was everything we dreamed of. So incredibly happy with our choice and highly recommend using Flora for any event, not just a wedding.

It is BYO-Everything, which allows for so much personal touch and creativity, budget flexibility, AND the venue itself is so gorgeous as a blank canvas ... the brick walls, wood floors, and concrete and white details elevate the entire space before anything even goes into it! This allowed us to lean into the natural elements, pare down our decor, and create the wedding of our dreams. Booking was easy, there was always someone available to answer questions or give us tips and tricks from other events, and there are no vendor restrictions as long as they have the proper insurance. SEVERAL of the guests specifically commented on how amazing the space was. It felt intimate, warm, classic, and unique all at once. Thank you so much to everyone there who helped us set the stage for the most joyful day of our lives!

I cannot stop raving about this venue and the whole event planning team. We had such an amazing experience having out wedding at the Horton Grand Hotel, it makes me want to do it all over again. The venue itself is beautiful and provides a perfect romantic setting for an outdoor wedding. Planning a wedding this year during COVID was nothing short of difficult but Jennifer and the whole event planning staff were so helpful and understanding throughout the whole planning process and really made planning this wedding and keeping our original date so easy. Jennifer constantly kept us updated on the current status of the hotel and was amazing at relaying information related to closures and events to us. She was knowledgeable about the restrictions and helped us plan for a day that was not only perfect in every way but also provided safety to our guests. It was a pleasure having our wedding at such a beautiful location and we were so pleased with how it all turned out and the responsiveness of the staff. There were a number of last minute challenges that made our planning stressful, it was worth every stress and the staff at the Horton Grand Hotel helped us through every set back allowing us to fully enjoy our day. Their list of preferred vendors really helped me narrow down my selections from coordination to catering, floral & entertainment and especially knowing that each of these vendors have worked in the space many times before, eased so many of my worries. Amanda helped me navigate that list to find ones that worked with our budget, style and vision. If you are looking for a venue that will go the extra mile with attention to (every little) detail, patience, professionalism and kindness- then you have found your match! Our wedding day was absolutely flawless, and the venue was beyond stunning. And the open floor plan really helps with making the space your own for a little bit. It was really easy to map out everything you needed for the day. The BEST part was this venue has indoor/outdoor space. Perfect for those who want to stay warm, while also perfect for those who needed to get some fresh air. This is a major selling point if you plan on getting married in SD since this venue is close to the water. Personable hosts, very professional. They offered glasses of wine to us every time we did a site visit. Extremely communicative and flexible to work with your schedule if need be. Marlene was our wedding coordinator and she really did everything she could to make our day so special. She knows what it's like when they say, "Treat your guests like family"... She made you feel right at home! She will do everything within her power to make you feel at ease. There was not one time I felt concerned. Our bartender, Bryan, was the SWEETEST! He would make your drink and just talk with you like he knew you already. Our guests absolutely loved him. Even if you're not planning a wedding, I would recommend this spot to friends and family for other types of events, for sure. Such a classy establishment with the FRIENDLIEST people.

We hosted our daughter’s wedding last weekend. The venue is literally the perfect setting for a wedding and we received exuberant praise all evening for how beautifully magical everything was. I believe that our event was their largest to date (240), which meant that we had to split the ceremony and reception between the lower and upper gardens. Initially, we were concerned about having to make our guests trek from bottom to the top gardens (or take the provided shuttle), but this provided the guests with a charming walk through the gardens to gain an added element of beauty to the night. Marina, the event lead, was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the entire process. Having a different starting location from the ending can be tricky (especially with a lesser know entry way), but the detailed instructions and maps that Marina provided proved to be extremely helpful in guiding everyone.

The Prado at Balboa Park is a National Historic Landmark which was originally built for the 1915-16 Panama-California Exposition. This two year festival was held in Balboa Park to promote San Diego and to celebrate the 1914 opening of the Panama Canal.

We had our wedding anniversary at the Prado and it was the dream celebration I wished I'd had for our wedding! FIrst off, the options we were offered for food choices was over the top. Everyone was so accomodating helping us with things. The day of, I felt like a Queen! I never lifted a finger- the staff always made sure I had a drink in my hand, and each time I got up from my chair, I came back to a seat with fresh a fresh napkin. The wait staff is so professional- they are there but not in your face. Everything we needed or wanted was handled for us. We have an event company, so have many contacts in the industry, and we chose to have our big party at the Prado because we knew we would be taken care of. We were not let down!

Bella Luna was a fantastic venue to host our pre-wedding party! John and I were married in Tuscany and many of our friends were unable to travel and attend our ceremony. I can’t even begin to tell you how amazing my experience with Verbena was. I am a wedding photographer by trade, so I have not only been to hundreds of weddings, I’ve worked them. When it came time to plan my own wedding, I knew I wanted something intimate and unique, and WOW did Verbena deliver. Not only is it the CUTEST on the inside (great for photos) but the food is life changing. It’s not just “good for a wedding” food, it’s incredible period. We had custom cocktails created by their in house mixologist, and Ronnie the head chef came up with a custom seasonal menu just for us. One of my guests described her meal as “magical”, and many more said it was the best food they’ve EVER eaten at a wedding. The Handlery hotel is without a doubt the way to go, they make all the arrangements, they very much arrange and include everything on the wedding package, still they will let you chose your own cake. Easy, included and ample parking is a plus. They are coveniently located, you out of town guests can even stay there. The hotel is beautiful and the service is excellent, dinner will impress your guests.

Established in 2014, BRICK has hosted over thousands of events. With ample windows, vaulted ceilings, and original brick interior, BRICK's natural aesthetic makes it possible to use as little or as much decor as you prefer! BRICK can seat up to 220 guests, and offers flexible rentals, including 24-hour, multi-day and hourly. BRICK includes the freedom to choose your own vendors, complimentary wifi and is pet-friendly.

BRICK was the perfect wedding venue for our special day. From the moment we first contacted them, the team was incredibly responsive, helpful, and attentive to our needs. They went above and beyond to ensure every detail was taken care of, even helping with my dress and veil train on the day of the wedding. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful - classic and elegant with a spacious layout that accommodated all of our guests comfortably. We couldn't have asked for a better value or a more wonderful experience working with the BRICK team to bring our wedding vision to life. We highly recommend this venue to any couple looking for a stunning, stress-free celebration.
