A uniquely private wedding venue in quaint Rancho Santa Fe, California. The Secret Garden at Rancho Santa Fe is currently reserving into 2025 with just one wedding per day. The grounds offer a natural background of gardens and lush greenery, with the perfect balance of indoor and outdoor spaces. As a bonus, they are a short drive away from stunning California beaches and can accommodate requests for off-site ceremonies, including a beach cliff wedding ceremony.

A charming fireplace welcomes you across the way, with a stage to the northwest. Access to the bridal suite, groom's room and guest bathrooms, and kitchen.

With access to he patio and guest bathrooms on-site, this space transforms into a lounge area and hallway during your event.

This space features lush gardens to provide the most peaceful and romantic, secluded, wedding event. Although best suited for a ceremony, outdoor receptions may be accommodated upon request. Our paved and covered outdoor patio perfectly houses your cocktail hour, complete skylight windows to keep the mood nice and bright! Pathways from the attached venue parking lot lead to both the patio and the beautifully entry archway. Featured focal points included our lighted gazebo and floral hoop swing!

    The Secret Garden At Rancho Santa Fe was the perfect venue for our wedding, I couldn't say enough good things about the venue itself, but also the team working there. They had great communication with us throughout the entire process. Even if we were speaking with multiple people about a topic, they were all well-informed on all my saved details so we didn't ever need to play catch-up with anyone. Working with this team (specifically Laura, Mary, and Kendra) took so much stress out of the planning process and left me feeling so confident that everything would be exactly how we discussed. Our day-of coordinator, Laura, was organized, calm, and excited throughout our planning meetings and actual event. Everything ran so smoothly because of her, my only regret was not being able to thank her in person at the end of the night. The venue itself is such a cozy, garden space without feeling cramped. I got so many compliments from my guests that the venue felt so welcoming and spacious even though the footprint isn't huge. I was also a bit nervous because it's right on the road, but because of all the trees and greenery, it felt super private (no one on the sidewalk could look really see into the venue) and I didn't hear any street noise during the outdoor portion of the day. While this venue includes a lot in their package, it's not a fully inclusive venue; however, they gave us a packet of vendors they often work with for anything that wasn't included, which took the stress out of finding and vetting vendors myself. In terms of pricing, I thought this venue was going to be way more expensive than other venues we were looking at (we got quotes for about 6 venues total in San Diego county), because it just looked so much more beautiful and had more decor options, but their price was incredibly reasonable and comparable to the other venues we toured. I couldn't recommend this venue enough, I literally wouldn't change anything about working with them.

    Wow! I just had my wedding here a month ago and our family and friends could not have been more blown away! The communication was amazing in this team and everyone was so helpful, efficient, and just a pleasure to work with. Laura was my wedding coordinator and she was the best! We loved our photographer and videographer and worked with Christine from Eco Catering and she was so nice and helpful! We couldn’t have been happier to have gotten married here and to have everyone along the way be apart of our most special day. —Nicole & Josh

    Getting married at Secret Garden was the best decision we made! Firstly, the space is gorgeous and intimate. The garden coupled with the reception room almost feels like backyard house wedding. Our guests all raved about the space as well. They only do one wedding a day and despite being on the 'main' road in downtown Rancho Santa Fe, you feel secluded from the outside world. The entire staff is AMAZING. They made the entire planning process super easy and super fun. I can't even tell you the number of requests they accommodated, and they executed everything to absolute perfection on the actual wedding day. I truly didn't worry about a thing in terms of set-up on my wedding day. Finally, the value was incredible. We admit we first got sticker shock when we saw the proposal but it includes SO much - not just coordination/planning, but decor, rentals, a DJ, photobooth, photographer. When you start to compare their proposal vs the cost of hiring everyone separately it immediately becomes clear that Secret Garden is not only a great price, but also reduces headache. All the included vendors were fantastic and the photobooth was so much. The amount of decor they provide saved us so much money as well - we pretty much just needed candles and flowers and they provided almost all of the rest! Plus you can bring your own alcohol which saved a ton of money. We highly recommend putting the Secret Garden at the top of your venue list!
