About this venue

Located in the base of Mission Hills, JULEP venue is one of the few event spaces in San Diego that provides tables, chairs, linens, bar service, on-site parking, and many more services and amenities that are essential for every event. The Venue Rental Fee includes custom built room dividers, affording you the ability to set up your ceremony on one side of the main hall and your reception on the opposite side. And, all members of our Events Team are formally trained in the wedding industry so we can offer professional guidance throughout your entire planning process!     Julep was the perfect sized wedding venue for our guest of 150. We loved that the design of the space was so clean and spacious, it was the perfect blank canvas for our how we wanted to make the space., while still having a character of its own. We also loved that we could hold the ceremony and reception in the same area. We had a number of elderlies in both sides of our families so it was really important to us that they didn't need to be moved from one location to another, and make sure that the space was accessible to them. All the amenities in the venue was great as well! They had plenty of bathroom stalls that were clean and spacious. Their Bridal Room was so cute and comfortable. The patio space was perfect for cocktail hour. Heather and Kirsten were our main point of contacts and they were both so lovely to work with. We really appreciated how organized they were and always being so quick to answer any questions, big or small. They were both so personable and made no questions feel like dumb questions. We really appreciated how organized they were, and how detailed they were in laying out details of our contracts and were so flexible with making any changes. We truly can't recommend Julep enough as a wedding venue.

    The Julep Venue was a wonderful place to host our wedding. The communication with the venue manager was easygoing and stress-free throughout the planning process. They always responded to our questions quickly and provided helpful information about the venue's layout, amenities, and policies. The venue itself offered a simple, spacious blank canvas for us to decorate however we envisioned for our big day. With its high ceilings, large windows, and neutral walls, it served as an airy backdrop that allowed our floral arrangements and decor to really shine. For couples wanting an unfussy venue that allows you to put your personal stamp on the event, the Julep is a great value - their reasonable rates mean more money for gorgeous flowers or spectacular lighting. We appreciated their laidback style and would wholeheartedly recommend them to other engaged pairs looking for a relaxed venue.
