A newly renovated event venue at the Waterfront at the Elks features state of the art audio video equipment to provide the perfect experience. Our 2900 Sq ft completely open room, capable of holding 160 people, has a magnificent view of Sagamore creek thru our exceptionally large windows. We work with a variety of exclusive caterers to fit every menu style and budget. A 1000 sq ft deck overlooking the creek, and a gazebo allow for options as to how you stage your event.

South Church is a historic church in downtown Portsmouth, built circa 1825. There are no religious requirements to use the church for your wedding ceremony; you can use the officiant of your choice as long as they are legally allowed to perform a ceremony in the state of New Hampshire. South Church has a complete sound system so that couples and/or officiants can be heard, as well as use of the piano and/or organ, MP3 hookups, and pre-ceremony holding rooms. We work with many local florists, photographers, musicians, and officiants to assure your special day is exactly what you want it to be.

Historic, breath taking 4 story barn The farm and barn are about 200 years old, and the barn was originally used for cows. The barn renovations completed in 2020 and it is all ADA compliant and up to code. In the barn, there is a full sound system, 14 chandeliers, a beautiful live edge bar top, two high end composting toilets (the flushing kind!), massive barn blue doors on each end, and a grand entrance staircase. The barn holds up to 200 people and is big enough that you don't have to rent a tent even with tables and chairs, a major benefit and money saver! In the event of rain, you can use the barn as a ceremony and reception space.
