Founded in 1814, The West Boylston Company was a large textile manufacturer in West Boylston, MA. At the turn of the century the company faced a crisis: the site of their mill would be flooded to form the Wachusett Reservoir. Instead of abandoning the mill, the company dismantled it brick by brick and shipped it to its new home in Easthampton, where it was rebuilt on the banks of the Lower Mill Pond. Now, a century later, The Boylston Rooms retains the integrity of the 1814 original mill in every brick and beam. Our rental includes planners and decor at no added cost. Spanning nearly 50 acres, the gracious, spectacular estate is the perfect setting for an unforgettable wedding. For your ceremony location, choose from the exquisite French Flower Garden, inspired by the gardens at Versailles, or the intimate Italian Garden, inspired by renaissance architecture. After your ceremony you can host cocktails on the expansive terrace overlooking The Mount’s meticulously manicured property and the mountains beyond. With a variety of locations available, the estate and gardens can accommodate weddings of varying sizes depending on your needs. We will provide ideas, but encourage you to make creative choices to individualize your reception.
