Dog momma, travel junky and the face behind courtneymarie productions. i've always had a love for capturing special moments from behind the lens. it wasn't until a few years ago i began my journey as a wedding videographer and grow to love it more and more every day. storytelling is my passion and getting to be a part of capturing someone's big day, is truly something special.

I was born and raised in Kansas growing up in Shawnee, where I graduated high school and went to Pittsburg State University for my undergraduate degree. Music has always been a passion of mine growing up playing different instruments and listening to a variety of genres. I began DJing in the summer of 2010 because I was tired of listening to the same music at parties, weddings and bars. I have a vast knowledge of music and an eye for the crowd, so I decided to put my skills to work.

I have been photographing and filming weddings for over 15 years; I love capturing the moments that define every couple's special day, from beginning to end. I am based in the Kansas City area, but I love traveling for weddings, too!

Almost 6 years ago, I decided I wanted to be a makeup artist. Based on a youtube video. At the time, I had no idea what the goal was, I just knew I loved all things makeup and beauty. The idea of running a business was presented to me, and honestly.. I had no idea what that would entail. I had no experience in building a business.. But here’s what I did know: Having a job where I could not only make someone feel beautiful for special events in their lives, AND have a consistent creative outlet? That was the dream.
