OUR HISTORY Spark Wedding Co was founded on the vision that people deserve seamless and empowering wedding experiences. Our story began in 2007 when a small group of high school friends came together to provide a memorable DJ experience at a neighborhood pool party. Word spread and pool parties turned into school dances, which became corporate parties, which led into weddings and gatherings all with a desire to bring people together. Today, Spark Wedding Co provides award-winning wedding services throughout the Midwest. We believe that the best celebration, is one that is focused on you.

    We used Live Events for our annual 6k race at Watkins Mill, and Luke was fantastic! He brought great energy to the race and all the participants. Can't wait to have him back next year!

    We used Spark Events for our DJ. The ceremony went fine, but the reception was a mess. All of our chosen songs were mixed up, so our first dance was incorrect. We specified no country music, and when asked to play a slow song he played country music. He played every single line dance/participation song back to back at the beginning of the reception without spacing them at all so the reception was extremely uneven and everyone stopped dancing after the first 30 min. We didn’t hear several songs we specifically requested to be played, but there was a bunch of music thrown in randomly that no one ever requested. I would not choose Spark Events again for a DJ.

    UPDATE 9-23-24 We went back through your reception planning guide and it specifically requests "Country" and "Classic Country" in the "requested genera's" section. I am confused, you did not want country music played, nut the planning guide requested two types of country music? Additionally, the DJ had sent me video of the first dances (as he thought they were beautiful). Having looked at the reception planning guide and the video footage, it appears that the correct song for first dance was indeed played. --- 9-18-24 response: Hey Samantha!
