“We hired DJ Chuck from mydeejay for our wedding on April 6, 2024 at Kent Island Resort, and it was the best decision! From our initial phone call, after interviewing a few different DJs from different companies, we knew Chuck would be the right fit. Throughout the planning process he was very accommodating, and the mydeejay planning portal was incredibly thorough and easy to navigate. Chuck arrived early to set up for both our outdoor ceremony and indoor reception. His equipment was top of the line - everyone said our ceremony music (which was played outside during an incredibly windy day) sounded like live string music. His indoor set up was incredibly sleek looking. Chuck played all of our requested songs, cut them at the perfect places when needed (for ceremony and dances) and mixed in others that kept our dance floor packed all night - which is what we wanted most at our reception. After just a few minutes of viewing the photos and videos of gigs he had posted on his Facebook page we knew he was our guy. Korey exceeded all expectations, from his in-depth phone calls leading up to the wedding to his oozing charisma and passion during the reception. Luke is the nicest, coolest guy and so great to work with!! He listened to every request we had leading up and I truly didn't think about a thing during the wedding day - he had our timeline completely under control and kept us on track (and if we were running behind I still have no idea because he's that good!!). The band is INCREDIBLE and had our guests on the dance floor all night!! I realized at the end of the night I never even changed out of my heels into my white sneakers because that would have meant leaving the dance floor. Our guests are still telling us how amazing the band was and several of them even got their card for their own events! Having Experience was the best decision we made!! “We booked Sound Society for our wedding last month after seeing them perform at a wedding band showcase and WOW did they deliver!!! We ended up booking Sound Society as a three piece string arrangement for our ceremony and as a 10-piece band for our reception with emcee duties and they hit it out of the park.
