Business Owner & DJ

Party Girl Entertainment is run and operated by Amy Reid; an active Baltimore DJ, musician and events curator performing since 2010. Driven by music, a sincere joy of the dance floor and the power it has to bring people together, she formed PGE in 2019 with this goal in mind. She is accommodating and welcomes venues both intimate and expansive. In 2017, The Baltimore Sun deemed Reid as one of “10 Baltimore Musicians on the Rise.” She has also been featured in Baltimore Magazine’s “Faces of Pride” issue in 2019. Her favorite party starters are Whitney Houston’s “I Wanna Dance With Somebody” and David Bowie’s “Let’s Dance.”

As Reid entered the wedding industry, she noticed a severe lack of women and LGBTQ identifying djs. Party Girl Entertainment is proud to represent the vibrant LGBTQ community in Baltimore. She is easy to work with, professional, and works within reasonable budgets.

    Amy was one of the first vendors I booked for my wedding and I’m so glad I did!! She has such a relaxing, calm demeanor that was so welcomed in the chaotic stress of wedding planning. Planning with her was a breeze- completely understanding of timelines, etc. She showed up ahead of time, was always responsive, and put me at ease immediately when I had question. Plus everything from the speeches to the ceremony to the packed dance floor ran SO SMOOTHLY! She took our preferred songs and ran with it and literally everyone had an amazing time. For a bride who loves to dance, she made the party happen!!
