Her communication style was frequent, clear, thoughtful, timely, and she was quick to respond to all of our questions and needs. The quality of her work and the value she provided was excellent-- she is hard-working and was incredibly considerate throughout the entire process. She went above and beyond, offering to bring additional decorations and even showing up the day before to assist with our traditional Vietnamese Tea Ceremony, which was not even on the same day as our official wedding. We had only hired her for her day-of coordination package, but even so, she was a consistent voice and helping hand for us for months leading up to the wedding. I can only imaging if we would have booked her whole wedding planning service, our wedding probably would have somehow been even more perfect than it already was. The week of the wedding I was in contact with Morgan who would be our official day of coordinator. Morgan ended up saving the day when our bartender cancelled on us last minute; she stepped in and bartended on top of coordinating. Then she was able to work with me to donate our flowers to a women’s shelter; a cause that hits close to home for me. I cannot recommend Avenue Design Studio enough!!

Ashley was an amazing day of coordinator for my husband and I's small-ish (45 pp) wedding that still had a silly number of little details to tend to. From our planning call to the days leading up to the wedding to the day of, Ashley was on top all of the things (including the small details we would have forgotten that would have blown up in our faces day of!) in a way that was just right - nudging us to get things done and also giving us feedback and ideas about what might work/etc. since we are not wedding professionals. ;) She had the East Coast Energy that I craved combined with the NOLA local experience that we needed in planning a wedding in New Orleans while being from and living in NYC. Brooke once told me during one of our many consultations, that the name of her business was “practically perfect” because nothing is ever 100% perfect, but her goal is to get it as close as possible. I didn’t realize how right she would be. First off the vendors she chose- the catering, the dj, the hair and makeup artist, the bartender, the florist… every single one of these vendors came through in a big way for me! They all knocked it out of the park, and that’s mostly because of Brooke! She knew what she was doing when she chose them, and she handled pretty much all of the communication. I just had to give approval and tell them exactly what I wanted, and Brooke made sure that happened. You just have to trust that you chose her for a reason and that she is going to make the right decisions. Every single thing about my day exceeded my expectations. Now let’s talk about her professionalism. I had someone at my wedding be… not so nice to her. Not Brooke’s fault. She handled it with grace and professionalism both during and after the situation, and made sure it caused as little of a hiccup as possible during my day. I can’t tell you how much it meant to me that Brooke was there for me every single step of the way taking care of things. I’m sure there’s things she tackled that I don’t even know about, and for that I am grateful also. Brooke, thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you did for me. You never once seemed stressed or overwhelmed which put me at ease during this process. I am so grateful for you, my wedding wouldn’t have been the same without you!

Brandon Thorn and Adam at Crimson Quarter Weddings went above and beyond to make our wedding day seamless! One of the things that I loved right away about Brandon when I first spoke with him was his authenticity, friendliness and sense of humor. I knew immediately that he was a genuine person who really cared about getting to know me and my fiancé. As a result, we became friends pretty quickly and got to know a lot about each other beyond wedding planning-related tasks. I so appreciated this because it meant that I felt like I had an ally to help me navigate the wedding planning process. Brandon will truly support you and go to bat for you if there is a communication issue or conflict of interest with another vendor or venue. I learned as a bride that it is really important to have someone like Brandon who is there 100% looking out for your best interests. I also appreciated that while I hired Brandon as my Day-of-Coordinator, he did way more than just day-of coordinating duties, including attending meetings with my venue several months in advance. He also always answered my texts and emails quickly and communicated with me frequently. This made me feel secure knowing that Brandon really cared about me! On the day of the event, we had to move our ceremony inside due to rain, and Brandon and Adam worked hard to still ensure that the décor and other elements for the ceremony were still set up to look beautiful inside. They also worked with the venue to make some changes to the furniture layout in order to still ensure that the space was set up to make us and our guests have the best experience possible. They also did an outstanding job taking down the décor and cleaning up so that my new husband and I could enjoy our second line and afterparty without having to worry about going back to the venue to clean up. When we returned to our hotel room much later that night, all of our items, including personal items that we had left in the venue space, were all returned to us and neatly stored in our room. We really felt taken care of the entire time. On top of all of this, I really felt like the fee we paid Brandon was an excellent value for the service that we received. I compared Brandon's pricing to other Day-of Coordinators in the New Orleans area, and I can say with certainty that his prices are better that most of the competition, especially for the level of service that you will receive! I would 100% recommend Crimson Quarter Weddings to any bride, groom or individual wishing to host a party/event in the New Orleans or broader Louisiana and Mississippi area!

So I usually don’t write reviews but I had to for this because my experience very easy and pleasant. I wasn’t left to plan my own wedding. The wedding planners here were very attentive and they basically helped me plan my wedding. Think of it like we planned my wedding together. The price was perfect too cause wedding planners are expensive. They even hooked me up with transportation and flowers for my wedding. Prestige Planning Co. was really great and I would recommend them to anyone.

Michelle was very communicative through out the whole process of wedding planning. She was great with sharing ideas and helping me to find my style for my wedding. She was great with collaborating the wedding decor ideas with my vision and making it come to life. She is always putting in the time, energy and effort for all her clients. I admire the hard work and dediction she gives to her clients, because she is truly commited. She lives for her clients and puts them first. She is very available and ready for anything which I appeciated very much. Nights, weekends, holidays, it didn't matter. I also hired her as my florist and she did an amazing job with the flowers. Kaity did a great job, especially considering all the uncertainty of bad weather (my ceremony was outdoors) we had to all deal with. She always had an upbeat and positive attitude the whole time, which I know can be very difficult to do around my family. She definitely would just roll with all the punches to keep us on track. I was anxious the entire day, but Kaity reassured me that she had everything under control and I knew I could trust her. She even went out of her way to get me and my husband little care packages on the day of, with inspiring notes. The only hiccups I actually noticed was with announcements and speeches, because the volume and echo was not great, so people didn't know when things were actually happening, so I wish we could've told the DJ sooner to fix the issue. We had also wanted to have our dinners boxed up, because my husband and I were both too anxious and excited to really eat, so our food ended up being thrown away, plus we didn't receive the top tier of our wedding cake to save for the tradition thing (but my guess is because they served it all to the guests). Unfortunately, at the end of the night, we were super rushed to get everything out of the building, because of the time and the pouring rain- I was running around barefoot in my dress while my husband was passed out in the car, and I was one of the few trying to get everything packed and cleaned up. However, Kaity and her husband really helped us out by collecting all the left items and holding onto them for us until the next day. She kept in contact, since at least a month beforehand, to make sure we had everything in order and sent her all the vendor contacts , so she could be included with all the day-of plans. She really did go above and beyond to make sure I had the best day possible, and I really appreciated that from her. I would definitely hire her again.

I cannot say thank you enough to Steph! She was absolutely amazing. She was so committed to learning what aspects of the wedding were most important to us and making sure they happened on the day of. For example, we were getting caught up in the dancing and were going to skip the cake cutting. She didn’t push, she just asked, “Are you sure? You told me that this was something that was important to you, so I just want to check”. And I’m so thankful she did that, because it’s one of my favorite wedding moments! She went absolutely above and beyond for us. I am currently in medical school and was so stressed leading up to the wedding, but Steph made me feel like it was possible. She was so organized and wrote out every detail we discussed. She went out of her way to suggest some vendors we were struggling to book last minute, and the list goes on. They took on a super difficult task due to the nature of the venue -- an DIY outdoor center with no cell phone reception, and key sites separated by a 0.3 mile gravel path, plus literally 7 different locations for all the different events (rehearsal, his and hers getting ready, ceremony, reception, cocktail hour, and food storage cabin). Oh, also the venue team has never hosted a wedding before!!! B&K handled it perfectly. I truly don't know what we would have done without them. Coming from an exceptionally type-A and more than mildly controlling bride, Bralyn with Simmons Sentiments' Wedding Management package was absolutely perfect. Bralyn herself is incredibly professional, polished, organized, and detailed (if you're a big fan of checklists, she is your girl); my partner and I felt so at ease both leading up to and during the wedding because we knew she would take care of every detail, big and small. She was flexible and efficient when I asked to make changes.
