Here's my photography short story: 2017, after 13 years of teaching, I said goodbye to the classroom and pursued Olympic weightlifting photography- my company was Everyday Lifters. Shortly after, I launched my wedding business. The Long Version: Weightlifting has taken me to places like Turkmenistan, Germany, & across the country! The weightlifters started getting married, and along the way, I received training to advocate for diverse bodies as a photographer. During this time of transition, I started taking documenting courses through the International Center of Photography and work on documenting local stories.

I am incredibly passionate about capturing real-life emotions. I utilize warm, earthy tones to portray the special intimate moments between couples. I also like to think I'm pretty easy to get along with, usually hilarious, and will be your ultimate cheerleader. I also like cake. And parties, so... I've been a professional wedding and portrait photographer since 2007. My favorite thing about weddings??? It's THAT moment. It's different at every single wedding.
