“A few things that stood out the most about Isaac were how responsive he was, how he was able to accommodate to our budget, and how he took pictures from angles and views that turned out great on the photos. As a couple with demanding careers, I much appreciated how quickly Isaac was with replying to emails. We had a pretty tight budget, and Isaac was able to offer us a package that landed pretty close to our budget and only had the items that we needed the most (mini engagement photoshoot for the website and wedding day). Our ask for him was to get some candid shots as we feel pretty awkward in front of the camera. I personally think that the wedding day pictures came out more naturally because of the setting being surrounded with friends and families, and Isaac and Sushen did a great job capturing the candid moments beautifully. Isaac even had an idea for me to pose by climbing up a wooden stair ladder for a shot that I honestly wasn't sure how it was going to turn out while doing it, but it ended up turning out beautiful and magazine-like in addition to other ones that he asked us to pose for. Isaac put together a behind the scenes video that also showed the reactions of guests to our photo place cards before we had entered the reception area, and this was lovely in that we got to see our guests' reactions that we weren't able to see.”

She was actually one of the first people I reached out to when I was engaged because I knew she HAD to be the one to capture the big day. Originally we were going to go to the mountains to elope but it evolved to smaller ceremony at a barn with great views. She is artsy, and fun and is down for just about anything when it comes to capturing your vision. I would give her 10 stars if I could. If you are looking for a photographer you will not regret booking her. I hope to get future sessions out in the woods with the family too!”

“Our journey with Ann Marie started when we won (after the first winners didn’t need it after all) her engagement photo package at the Portland Venue Crawl. We were beyond grateful and excited to win such a valuable experience and quickly realized that Ann Marie was going to be so fun to work with. She helped us pick an amazing location that required some travel for her, and it was so much fun - we got sun, fog, rain, sunset, and even a rainbow! She was prepared for it all and made it such a fun adventure. We were really nervous and she helped us chill and get a bit more comfy in front of the camera. She delivered our sneak peaks the next day which were so fun to look through and was extremely prompt with getting us the rest of our gallery. Naturally, we hired Ann Marie for our wedding too and cannot imagine having anyone else! She was so helpful through the stressful wedding planning process, sending us vendor recommendations and always being available if we had questions or needed advice. She has an amazing network and her want to help with things not even photography related was so impressive and very appreciated. There was a major health scare in my family, we weren’t even sure if my dad was going to make it to wedding day and Ann Marie was so kind and supportive. She captured moments for my family that carried a lot of weight and she did it with such grace and thoughtfulness. We are all so grateful for her commitment to making wedding day as special as possible, for my husband and I but also our loved ones. We’ve gotten an amazing selection of sneak peaks and should be getting our full gallery soon - we couldn’t be more excited!
