“From the first email inquiring about her services, I knew Calea was going to be wonderful to work with! She had a very quick response time and worked with me to figure out the best package for our special day. Leading up to the wedding, Calea was readily available to answer any questions I had and even helped me with a timeline for the day. On the day of our wedding, Calea drove to a neighboring county from our venue for us to be able to get some first look and family photos done before the ceremony. I was worried about what types of poses we'd do but this worry quickly went away as Calea makes you feel completely comfortable and fully guided us through all the photos, making it an enjoyable experience rather than a stressful or uncomfortable one. She captured every single detail beautifully. “Definitely one of the best decisions I made for our wedding. We had Ann Marie do our engagement photos and we loved her from the start and loved how they came out. We were devastated when we found out she was already booked for our wedding date, but she got us set up with one of her associates Elena at a discounted rate. Even though she wasn't going to be there on our big day she still put in so much effort to help us decide the timeline and the shot list. She kept in contact with us the whole time and really made us feel confident about the big day. She will still be doing the editing in her style and we are absolutely thrilled with the sneak peek shots we've gotten so far! She even threw in an extra photographer for us for free which was incredibly kind of her, although unfortunately that photographer was sick on the day of the wedding so we still ended up with just one. But Elena was great and made us feel totally at ease and got every shot on the list. She kept everything running on time despite the timeline having been created for two photographers. “I can't express enough how happy we were to have Renee. She just so happened to be in town the weekend of our wedding so we didn't even have to pay a travel fee which she never had to do! She was a breath of fresh air in actually feeling like she was appreciative to be our photographer. After a long period of planning I was starting to feel like vendors were acting like they could care less to be selected and Renee was COMPLETELY the opposite. She sent us the sweetest personal touches and dug through all her photos to show me examples of photos that really mattered to me. I wanted more candid photos and she did not disappoint. “Alyson was so lovely to work with. From the beginning, she offered suggested shot lists, encouraged us to look at other wedding photos in order to get an idea of things we wanted to capture, and overall had a comprehensive organized approach to our wedding. Alyson delivered on all of her photography promises - I had spotted a photo from a past wedding she shot that I loved - it was a black and white photo of the bride and groom walking down the aisle. Alyson captured their happiness and love in the shot and I just adored the photo - I asked if she could try to capture a similar moment in our wedding and she did. I love looking back to that photo, she caught one of the happiest moments of my life. On the day of our wedding, Alyson fit in seamlessly with the day, she was there to take photos around us, without making the day about her or her shots. Because of her organization, she caught the posed photos we asked for (including being able to round up my very large family) and all of the candids I love looking back on. Our wedding was in 2010, but since, she has also shot our maternity and newborn photos, as well as being the photographer at one of my best friends weddings (who loved my wedding photos so much she hired Alyson, too).
