Q: What’s your photography style?

I am a documentary style photographer, which means I capture mostly candid moments of you and your loved ones on your wedding day! (But don’t worry, I’ll always include family and bridal party portraits for Mom. 😉) And during your couples’ session, instead of “posing” you, I’ll give you action prompts so that you have fun and look natural in your photos.

Q: Are you available on our date??

I still have some dates open for 2024, and I’m currently booking all of 2025! Here’s what’s still open this year: July 26/27 August 2/3 August 9/10 August 16/17 All weekends in October November 1/2 November 15/16 November 29/30 All weekends in December

Q: Do you offer video?

While I’m not a professional videographer, I always take lots of short behind-the-scenes video clips of your wedding day on my iPhone. I’m happy to share those with you at your request!

Q: Do you have a favorite location for photoshoots?

I love the West and will travel anywhere for good photos! Big roadtrip fan here 👋🏻 But out of all the places I’ve done photoshoots, the Oregon coast at sunset is a tried and true favorite. The golden light that hits in the evenings between the months of October-March is unsurpassed by any other golden hour I’ve seen. And yes, it’s very windy, but if you’ve got sun, it will make your portraits have the most windswept, breathless, cinematic and romantic vibe ever!

Q: Do you charge travel fees?

I live in Corvallis, Oregon, and anywhere within a 100-mile radius is free of travel charges! Past that, I do add light travel fees to cover the cost of my gas and hotel if I need to stay overnight, which is usually the case if you book all-day wedding coverage. I’ve included some popular locations below! Seattle/Tacoma: $100-350 Bend/Central Oregon: $50-300 Medford/Southern Oregon: $80-330 Sacramento/Napa/Bay Area: $250-600

Hi! It's so nice to meet you! I live in Oregon with my two cats Clara & Leonardo and about a hundred tropical plants 😆🪴 I love exploring the Pacific Northwest, but I’ve also been able to travel throughout the states and overseas. I’m a huge national parks nerd, a sci-fi enthusiast, and a vintage collector with a serious thrifting addiction.

Being a photographer is one of the greatest joys I've ever experienced. Capturing a moment that someone will remember - a couple seeing the future in each other's eyes, a graduating senior realizing that their whole life is ahead of them, or that split-second when the sunset over the waves or a mountain peak is just flawless - that's what I live for. Working with Naomi from Northwest Hearts Photography was a pleasure. She has a creative eye and took the time to get to know us as a couple. She was able to beautifully captured the emotion in our engagement photos and was willing to travel to our favorite spot on the coast. Unfortunately a last minute family emergency prevented her from shooting our wedding day. However, Naomi communicated with us promptly and had arranged for a capable backup photographer to step in, which helped ensure our special day went smoothly. While we were disappointed not to have Naomi herself there, we appreciated her professionalism and care in making sure we were taken care of. We'd recommend Naomi for her creativity, flexibility and dedication to her clients.
