Our wedding reception at the Best Western Adams Inn in Quincy on July 27th, 2024, was perfect! The Event Manager, Denise, was flexible and accommodating, making planning a breeze. We did a dinner tasting, received special guest room rates, and stayed in the lovely Bridal Suite for both getting ready and our wedding night. Denise also shared great vendor recommendations; their wedding package even included our cake. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The team was accommodating, and everything was perfectly organized. I highly recommend the Best Western Adams Inn for anyone looking for a fantastic wedding venue!

After we toured 1620 Winery at Cordage Park, we immediately got in the car and said to each other that we should book it for our July 2023 Wedding. We have zero regrets! It was so beautiful and unique as a venue. We loved the convenience of everything being in one place- and so did our guests! We also loved that although it is primarily an inside venue (with air conditioning for a summer wedding!), there is a large outside deck for guests to enjoy. Logistics and planning were a dream. They are incredibly organized and prepared for anything. Jenn, the coordinator, clearly knows how to run a fantastic wedding and if anything went wrong behind the scenes, we have no idea! The wine was delicious and a fun talking point for guests. The food was hands down some of the best food we’ve had at a wedding (we loved going to the tasting ahead of time, too!) - our guests are still talking about how great the food was and how unique and fun the venue was. We love, love, loved getting married there and would suggest it to ANYONE looking to book with them. We are so happy with our decision to choose 1620 Winery at Cordage Park.

My husband and I recently got married at this beautiful venue in August. We had the ceremony on the water and everything about the day was so beautiful and perfect. It was also so very nice to have so many things within walking distance for our guests and more than enough spaces for people to stay nearby. Everyone we worked with was so incredible and helpful. Wedding planning is very stressful, but they all had a very calming, put-together presence. They were so organized and helped make the day go seamlessly. We are beyond appreciative of Franque, Mindy, Jack and Karen and everyone else who helped make this day so very special. They were so patient and worked with us to make it everything we wanted the day to be and more. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a beach wedding!!

We really wanted a wedding on the water, but also didn't want to ask our out of town guests who were flying in to drive further to the beach. Excellent food was the most important item on our list. We looked at *every* venue in the Boston/New England area and felt really stuck. Then, I went to dinner at Woods Hill Pier 4 and everything changed - our dream wedding suddenly seemed possible. Emily, Hilary and the entire staff built a multi-course experience around our preferences. Together, we made sure every guest's preferences were met. And, they helped us pull it together in less than 3 months, because once we found this venue, dream wedding mode was activated. If you want your guests to have a premium dining AND hospitality experience in the heart of Boston, there truly is no other place. Trust me, I looked!

It’s impossible to fully express how wonderful PAGU is, both as a standalone restaurant and as a wedding venue. As Cambridge residents, we had eaten here with friends and family and knew the food, drinks, and service were excellent, and I hosted a work event with a partial buy out that everyone enjoyed, so it quickly came to the top of our list after we got engaged and were looking into wedding venues. From the very beginning, the staff, especially event manager Amanda, were so easy to work with, and they were very flexible to make the space, menu, and overall wedding very personal to us. After a cocktail hour with both passed apps and stations, we opted to have a buffet style wedding so we could accommodate a variety of palettes (our families are from different cultures: Chinese/Indonesian and German/Italian), everyone could find something they liked, and we could show off a seafood paella in a large format paella pan. They even offered a Thai pesto dish that is not standard on their menu! They were also extremely conscientious about guests with food allergies, clearly marking them on menus, and even going to specific guests (especially those with celiac disease) and providing separate non-cross contaminated dishes. They also managed the flow of tables and buffet line efficiently and flawlessly, which can’t be overlooked, as we’ve been to weddings where this wasn’t the case. Our guests all told us it was the best wedding food and cocktails they’ve ever had, and we were so excited to share one of our favorite restaurants with them. The space was perfect for our 110 person wedding. The outdoor patio was a nice space for a cocktail hour and provided a quiet place to hang out when the dance floor later opened. The main restaurant is much larger than it looks, so it manages to feel intimate while still fitting over 100 people without feeling cramped. We had the DJ upstairs in the mezzanine like a real DJ booth, which allowed him to have a great read on the dance floor and assure no one was sitting right in front of a speaker. Finally, they cleared the front two large tables for a dance floor that was plenty large enough for everyone to dance for over 2 hours. Finally, we were thrilled to use our wedding to support a local business that not only has a mission to serve excellent food and drinks (they’ve received James Beard Award nominations!), but also to build community. Chef/owner Tracy Chang founded several nonprofits during COVID to provide economic relief to restaurant workers and donate meals to hospital workers, and she and PAGU have been hosting roundtable events to start conversations about sustainability, culture, and community. We first heard of PAGU after my sister went to a roundtable event about using invasive green crabs in cooking! We knew hosting a wedding was going to be an investment, and while we would have been so happy choosing PAGU for our wedding for the myriad of reasons above, we felt especially great about putting our investment into a place that cares about the world and community around it. We could not recommend PAGU enough for your wedding!

The moment that I saw the ceremony package details for “The Quickie” I knew it was perfect for myself and my partner. It was exactly what we were looking for! We needed to plan far in advance due to important guests coming from out of town, and Jusmine graciously accommodated that request. It was a seamless process, from booking the day and time, to filling out our script questionnaire, to the week of the ceremony, and finally the day of! Jusmine replied to all communication in a timely, professional, friendly, and helpful way. I especially appreciated the detailed information about parking and locating the venue that she was able to provide. Jusmine composed a script for the ceremony and sent it to me about a month beforehand with the ability to request any changes. Even though we had never met, it felt as though Jusmine really understood the relationship that my partner and I have and she captured our love in words beautifully. She also included the important details, like when we would have the rings brought up. On the big day, we were invited into the studio right on time. Jusmine had a very welcoming and calming presence and helped us all feel at ease right away. She gave us an opportunity to take pictures together before the ceremony, and helped to capture all six of us on our own phones. The ceremony itself went as planned. After we were officially married, Jusmine took a polaroid picture of us for our keepsake and then let us all mingle and hug and take more pictures! We also had a ketubah that we asked Jusmine to sign as our officiant and she had a beautiful marble table to lay it out on. When it was time to leave, we made sure that Jusmine had our marriage certificate to fill out. Later that day, she sent an email to confirm that she had sent it to our town hall and provided the USPS tracking number. I cannot say enough good things about Dearly Studio as a venue, and Jusmine as a Justice of the Peace. It is clear that she is passionate about helping couples to unite through a wonderful and memorable day!

We got married here on Sunday 9/29 and I really can’t say enough good things about this space. The team was great to work with and all of our guests were so impressed by the space because it’s not like anything else really. I LOVED having the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all in one room because we wasted almost no part of our day shepherding folks from place to place. The caterer recommended to us, Premier, was also amazing and they were on it and had many great suggestions to make the day as great as possible as they work in the space often. If you want outdoor photos before we found two great little parks to work with and ended up doing our first look and family portraits at “Leather City Commons” which is a three minute drive down the street. Then the two of us walked the ten minute walk back to Olio from there and got some great photos by Peabody City Hall and there are truly a plethora of great brick walls to choose from for a good backdrop! For getting ready we stayed at the Bell Inn and Tavern and their team was also amazing! I got ready in a Junior King Suite my parents were staying in and their team flipped the bridal suite early (as they had a wedding party the night before) so we could do bridal portraits with the moms and my sister. My husband and I stayed there that night and the room is gorgeous. My only regret with that space is we didn’t stay longer because it was so beautiful!!! (And the room service food we ordered from the tavern for lunch was great!) Shout out specifically to Kelsey and Heather for all of their help. Logistically I was a little nervous about it being in Peabody as we live closer to Boston but parking is free on Sundays and folks could Uber easily to the venue. Many out of town folks loved being able to stay near Salem to make it a great weekend trip. Last, I cannot recommend enough having a day of coordinator. I know Sarah who runs Olio has her own planning company and would be amazing to work with. I was lucky enough to have an amazing coworker and friend who helped me out and I literally gave him a binder with everything and I did not stress about anything for the entire day. I did not see my cell phone or get asked a single logistics question all day and it was GLORIOUS. I think that covers everything and will absolutely update if I think of anything else that can help out future brides considering this great space!!!

782Wrentham was the perfect setting for our belated wedding reception. We had time to decorate and add personal touches on the morning of the event. My makeup artist (Gyna Paine) traveled to me and used the rental space as my bridal suite. The venue was spacious and comfortable, with plenty of seating and parking for 100 guests. From the moment we entered the grounds to many vendor visits, all the way to the wedding day, we felt like we were at home at Pierce House. We were able to curate the space to our specific visions, and Jen was sooo helpful throughout the whole process. She also has the cutest bulldogs on the planet, and we were actually sad the next day picking up the remaining decorations because we wanted to keep working with her. You really don't have to do much to the space to make it beautiful, and with a Director as involved and as helpful as Jen, you'll have the most fairy tale wedding day. Just a pro tip for communication: Jen is the most responsive via phone, so text or call her to inquire about meetings, and she will be at your side whether you're planning for 6 months or 2 years.

The venue itself is truly charming and unique, with a customizable layout that allowed us to create our dream wedding. The food, prepared by Chef Dan, was phenomenal - our guests are still raving about it. The entire staff at Castle Manor Inn was friendly and helpful, and they eased our stress throughout the planning process. We LOVED having our wedding at Machines with Magnets. Everything about the night and the planning was absolutely seamless. We got compliments all night (and still to this day) that the drinks were the best our guests had ever had. The cocktails are that of a thoughtful bar program — not just a wedding venue. The same goes for furniture, art, and ambience. If you're looking to avoid the generic wedding venue vibe, look no further. Machines with Magnets is the type of place you want to go grab a drink or hang out for the night — not a large wedding venue created to churn and burn events. We loved that we were able to bring in our own vendors from all over, rather than having to stick to a small list. There's also a beautiful apartment attached to the venue that we chose to add-on, which was a great thing to have to get ready and store our belongings. Would highly recommend using the projector!

I was a floral designer providing centerpieces for a baby shower held there last fall (2023), in the Phillips Room. My experience as a vendor there was great. The venue was immaculate and modern inside, with the classic New England charm and vibe. The staff could not have been more helpful. They helped me with load-in, and the setup people were friendly and efficient. The coordinator Linda was also friendly, professional and on top of all the many details for the event (food, drinks, balloons, florals, favors, etc.). The room was light and airy, with lots of windows and light. The neutral background would work for almost any color palette. It is a beautiful venue in a classic New England setting, and I highly recommend it!

We loved having our wedding at the Ballroom at Providence G! The space was very upscale and elegant. It looked fantastic in photos, and it felt great in person too. We also really enjoyed working with the staff at the venue. We worked hand-in-hand with several different people, and each person was organized, kind, and detail-oriented. And even though we talked with multiple people throughout the planning process, everything was very cohesive and all of our requests were honored (with no exceptions whatsoever). We also enjoyed having our cocktail hour on the Rooftop at the Providence G. The vibes up there were immaculate, and we also loved the appetizers and drinks. Additionally, we received several compliments from our guests on the location. Everyone took advantage of how the venue is in the heart of downtown Providence to spend some time enjoying the city. We just had our wedding at Smolak Farms and could not have had a better experience start to finish. Elaine was a godsend throughout the entire process. Elaine has been available and accommodating since day one. Throughout the entire process, she constantly checked in with us to ask us if we need anything or had any questions. She was readily available to answer any and all questions and offered suggestions and feedback throughout, that was greatly welcomed by us. As we got closer to our wedding date, Elaine helped us feel relaxed and organized. The day of the rehearsal, Elaine and her team were ready for our rowdy bridal party, and kept us organized and on track for a quick rehearsal. Elaine and her team were extremely detail oriented and had everything organized and set up the day of - they not only received and set up our charcuterie, board delivery and pastry delivery, but the entire venue was decorated beautifully beyond our initial vision. We got so many compliments that we owe to Elaine and her team on the location, ceremony, and reception. Elaine and her team went above and beyond all of our expectations for our wedding day and truly brought our wedding vision to life, and then some. We had been told to expect things to not go according to plan, we did not experience that at all. Everything went more than perfect that day. We couldn’t be more grateful for them and recommend Smolak Farms more highly!!! Thank you Elaine and team!!!!

Hotel Providence was exactly what we were looking for in a wedding venue. I loved moving from room to room, having a dance floor away from space for folks to have coffee and dessert, and to be able to walk upstairs at the end of the night. We could not have been more happy. There has been a recent change in events personnel, which led to some miscommunications and a few things not happening as expected. While nothing that altered any piece of our enjoyment, I would recommend couples who are more anxious or type A to hire a day/month of coordinator to ensure everything goes as smoothly as possible. The staff at HP are five-star, and they handled every questions, concern, issue, and guest with grace and professionalism. I thought it was well-priced., and for us, having a venue that "does it all" was super important.

From the moment we found Black Swan Country Club on Zola, my husband and I knew this was where we wanted to have our big day. As the bride, I of course wanted to micro-manage everything but I was able to relax knowing that Donna had it under control. Choosing a venue is arguably the most important aspect of celebrating a wedding, and the Stevens Estate is absolutely spectacular. I wouldn't do a single thing differently when it comes to choosing a venue. From our very first tour of the Estate, we knew they were setting the bar both aesthetically and in terms of planning, and no other venue surpassed it! Amy and Helen were extremely helpful during the planning process, providing excellent forms and schedules that guided us through. Because Fireside Catering owns and caters at the venue, everything could be discussed and planned all at once, which was great for us as we were coordinating our wedding out of state. On the day of, Amy, Casey and other staff members were beyond kind and helpful. Everyone was extremely attentive to our needs and it really felt like a luxury experience. Everything was run smoothly and professionally. The fact that they take care of setup and cleanup meant that my husband and I could be excited about celebrating our marriage without thinking about logistics. There are all kinds of backdrops for photos - beautiful forest surrounding the building, gorgeous interiors of the Estate. The food was excellent! All our guests said they had a great time, and the dance floor was packed all night! We seriously could not have asked for a more magical day, and it is all thanks to Amy, Helen, and the team at the Stevens Estate. We are so grateful for all their hard work!

Vanessa, who resides on site at Veasey Park, made our planning and event execution a total breeze! Her recommendations for bartender and tent/event setup were exactly what we needed. They were attentive and professional. Everyone we encountered in planning and holding our event were so easy to get in touch with, and Vanessa walked us through every step of the way. If you love a beautiful outdoor setting like we do, this historical park is for you! The grounds are stunning, complete with an old 1920’s hunting lodge built by the Veasey family. The park offers stunning views of the lake below, a great playground for young guests to enjoy, and if you time your event correctly, you will find the local farmer bringing his goats in to graze on the abundant vegetation. This venue really focuses on maintaining the natural beauty of the property, both inside and out! If you are looking for a cozier, cooler weather setup, just look to the gorgeous hunting lodge with it’s beautiful hardwood floors and stone chimneys! It was an absolute dream, and we couldn’t have been happier with our choosing Veasey Park for a wedding party!

We had our wedding at Steeple Hall earlier this month and we have not stopped hearing the rave reviews about Nik and the team at Steeple hall. Our day went without a hitch and we could have not asked for a better venue and team than the ones at Steeple Hall. On top of everything the food was so delicious friends and family are planning on going back to have the food served because it was that good. We have a full Club House with Pro Shop, Restaraunt, Function Room, Locker Rooms and Member's Lounge. The 23,000 sq. foot clubhouse opened a year later in May of 2004 consisting of the scenic Waterfront Room with a seating capacity of 225 and Tavern with accommodations of 100 people for lunch and dinner everyday during the golf season.

Our wedding was scheduled for 06/05/20. Unfortunately with the pandemic and state restrictions we were only allowed 15 people. As other couples, we postponed our wedding to 11.22.20 with hopes we could have more guests share our special day. We did end up getting married at crystal lake in June with our closest family and friends and enjoyed dinner on the back patio from the Tavern. Tracy and her staff were so accommodating to this quick and sudden request. We went through with our November wedding with 50 guests. The grounds, staff, and food were nothing short of amazing. Tracy and her team went above and beyond with all the extra precautions and making sure everyone felt comfortable and had what they needed. The waterfront room is absolutely stunning. The food, omg, the food is so delicious. We had the best time and everyone raved about how beautiful and great it was. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone. Whether it be to play a round of golf, eat lunch in the tavern, or host a private event. Tracy and her team is nothing short of amazing and we are so pleased we chose Crystal Lake!

There are 80 bedrooms on the property scattered over 7 oceanfront acres. The facility sets up very well for a weekend event. A buffet breakfast is included with the accommodations. Wedding packages include. All the tables, chairs, dishes, white linens, chairs for the ceremony, and coordinating services. There are many food options to consider. We got married at The Lighthouse Inn on September 25th. If you're looking for something with old Cape Cod style beachy charm, this place is 100% it. The view cannot be beat, and the pricing was some of the most reasonable we found when searching for our wedding venue. We had our ceremony performed next to the beach and our reception inside and everything could not have been more perfect (besides the gusty wind, which is to be expected being so close to the water). Carri was our in-house coordinator and she made sure that everything went according to schedule and to plan. She was always available to answer my many questions. The night before the wedding (and the night of the wedding) we (the bride and groom) stayed in one of the one bedroom cottages. The cottages had plenty of space for us to get ready with our bridal parties the morning of the wedding and were just as quaint and adorable as the rest of the venue. Thank you again for a day we won't forget!

The Bradley Estate

Once a colonial farmstead known as Cherry Hill Farm, the Bradley Estate was transformed in 1902 into a classic country estate. Dr. Arthur Tracey Cabot hired noted Architect Charles Platt to design a great house, landscaped grounds, and a complex of farm and estate buildings. Platt adorned the lovely natural setting with manicured lawns, a walled garden, and a brick-edged parterre garden. In 1945, Cabot's niece Eleanor Cabot Bradley acquired Cherry Hill Farm and lived there with her husband until its bequest to The Trustees of Reservations in 1991. Mrs. Bradley made some notable additions to the property, including a greenhouse and a studio. Today, the Bradley Estate is open to the public and the house and grounds host special occasions for both private and corporate clients.
