    I had high expectations with the business owner considering long time relationship both professionally and personally. The decor was magnificent. I expected nothing less from the owner, however there is a long list of disappointment. After agreeing on a decreased number of people and different menu for a lower price I finalized head count a week prior to our wedding. We finalized on 6 tables with 10 seats and a head table. To ensure there was enough food and to represent food from both my culture and husbands culture I also agreed to cook half the food. Upon the reception time there were no utensils set up at the tables. There were no severs, half of the food was put away. There was at minimum no pitchers of water set at the tables. Our champagne flasks were not at our head table. Our party favors were not arranged. My bridesmaid as well as mother had to personally set up and serve guests. Following the event although disappointed nothing was said on my behalf. I received a message requesting 200 for cleaning because the mess was “overwhelming” my mother in law and husband personally were cleaning up. If not for my father in law and other guests there also would be no water, ice or soda included.

    This woman took 2500 from me for an event. She did not deliver on her promise. She promised me a DJ, servers, along with plates and utensils. I prepared the food. For the DJ, I asked for gospel music only. I got all dance hall music and no gospel. When I approached the DJ he told me that it was last minute booking and he only had dance hall music. She said her usual DJ could not make it. I think she lied. For the food: She did not have not even one server. She told me it would cost 270 per server, however when we negotiated the price for the venue she said she could not take off anything because she have to pay her workers including the servers. I went there expecting great service. There were no servers. I had to use my guest to help with serving the food. I asked her ahead of time about serving fruit salad and soup. There were no accommodations made for that as well. We had to send someone to BJ's to buy soup bowls. For the salad dressing, I had to stand at the end of the line to serve the dressing out of the bottle. At the end of the evening, I asked her for the left over sterns (box of 72 with only 16 used) she told me she did not know where they were and if she finds them she will let me know. I then searched for them myself and found them. Upon leaving, I forgot my fruit tray and a pot and she confiscated them. She refused to take my call so I could retrieve my belongings. My next move will be seeking advise from the police. If I can not retrieve my belongings we will be going to the court. Please stay away from this scammer. She is money hungry and has a very strong antisocial personality.
