The Society maintains eight historic properties, an extensive library and archives, and a large collection of china, textiles, furniture and fine and decorative arts.

Our beautiful grounds are nestled on scenic Suntaug Lake. Conveniently located just north of Boston, Spinelli’s is an ideal location to host your Wedding Reception, Private Event or Business Meeting. Our exquisite ballrooms can accommodate 50 to 250 guests.

The Rotch-Jones-Duff House, a Greek Revival mansion built in 1834, stands as a prominent landmark in New Bedford, Massachusetts.
