My name is George. I am a Wedding, Event and Portrait photographer based in Connecticut. I began my photography journey at the age of 17. In 2009 I went to the Fashion Institute of Technology (Manhattan, NY) and graduated in Fashion Photography class. My desire as an artist is to create natural pictures that are full of life and express beauty. With my European heritage and unique style, I create your every need differently and diligently, capturing all the emotions and unique details of your photography requests.

I’m a caffeine addict (coffee and Dr Pepper), wife to my high school sweetheart, mom of three active kids, complete artsy nerd, avid fan of Marvel/Disney, legos and puzzles and lastly, a lover of nature and of human connection. Capturing details and moments that you don’t get to stop and relish in the day of your wedding, but will have for the rest of your life, it’s what I love.

I am the one behind the camera. The one guiding you every step of the way, and giving you direction, but mostly I’m there to capture your love and to tell your story. Essentially it’s all about you… your style, your vision. It’s the in-betweens, the messy, the real, the bursts of laughter, the tears… that’s the stuff that I have a true love for. I am a curly-haired hugger who has always dreamed of my wedding day, so it was a no brainer after shooting my cousin's wedding in 2004 that this is what I was meant to do. I can be found running along the streets of our small town in Hingham, building a beach bonfire on the Cape or simply lounging around with my husband Chris, our daughter Melanie and our husky Stowe - watching our latest show obsession. If I'm lucky I get to do the thing I love most - photographing the beginning of my sweet couples’ story!

I earned a BFA degree in studio art from the University of Notre Dame (Go Irish!), and a MFA degree in imaging arts/photography from Rochester Institute of Technology. The Lane Studios originally started as a family & school photography studio many years ago. In 2019, we started offering wedding photography after years of many enquiries. The entire process is led and managed by couple-in-real life, Sean & Donnla, with Sean as the lead photographer on the day, and Donnla handling everything to do with client relations and bookings. We shoot all over the New England area - from the far reaches of Maine to the corners of Connecticut. Fun facts: Sean is a Navy Veteran and Donnla was born in Galway, Ireland.

Living, studying and working in these different cultures has affected her artistic approach to the profession of photography.
