About The Lane Studios
The Lane Studios
The Lane Studios originally started as a family & school photography studio many years ago. In 2019, we started offering wedding photography after years of many enquiries. The entire process is led and managed by couple-in-real life, Sean & Donnla, with Sean as the lead photographer on the day, and Donnla handling everything to do with client relations and bookings. We shoot all over the New England area - from the far reaches of Maine to the corners of Connecticut. Fun facts: Sean is a Navy Veteran and Donnla was born in Galway, Ireland.
Our approach is to capture your special day in a candid-style - but always making sure you look amazing. We also mix in a flair of fine-art posing, ensuring we tell the story of your wedding day that is authentic, heartfelt and timeless. We believe your wedding photographs or video should be more than just pictures and moving images: they should be a reflection of who you are, your personalities, and your unique love story. We welcome all types of love and unions and have a range of packages to choose from that fit most budgets - including micro weddings and elopements. We look forward to celebrating with you!

We love this package because it allows for full peace-of-mind that nothing will be missed. You want us there early for bride-groom prep = done; want to spend over an hour on formals = sweet, so do we; loads of coverage of the reception = see you on the dance floor.

Beyond thrilled!
We're so so thrilled we booked The Lane Studios and Sean to shoot our wedding! Communication was a breeze from the start and they really helped guide us through what to expect and what to prioritize on the day. Sean was so great and getting everyone feeling relaxed and confident and it shows in the pictures! We have the most gorgeous gallery of photos of us and our loved ones that I know we'll treasure forever and I couldn't imagine being happier with the results.
The best from start to finish!
We heard of Sean (and therefore lane studios) from a family friend and decided to book him for our engagement photos. Sean was fully onboard for our idea to take photos on Martha’s Vineyard (where we got engaged) and made the whole time feel relaxed and fun! He even got our moody dog to participate and didn’t shy away or complain when there was an unforeseen incident of being overrun by ticks. We knew immediately after we wanted to book him for our wedding. Sean helped make taking all the photos relaxed and made sure that we had the time to do what we needed to do. He was a great advocate for us that day! We had many people tell us how much fun our photographers were and that they appreciated that they were easy going but focused. After sharing our photos with family and wedding party after I even had one person say they forgot Sean was there because he got so many great candid shots without making people feel like they had to awkwardly pose during the reception or having flashes going off in their faces. We cannot say enough good things about Lane Studios and Sean!
