Our historic, nineteenth-century, recently renovated barn is surrounded by natural beauty with picturesque rolling green pastures grazed by Angus cows and Border Leceister sheep, as well as hay fields, and crop and cut flower fields. Our stately barn sits at the top of a hill overlooking the Vloman Kill. Our family has farmed this land in Albany County, NY for over two hundred years and we would like to share this beautiful property with you for your special day.

The Edison Downtown is a brand new wedding and event venue in downtown Schenectady and established in 2021. The venue is exclusively catered and owned by Seasons Catering where they are excited to begin hosting events. This venue holds the history from when Thomas Edison came to Schenectady to start up Edison Machine Works and when he combined it into the Edison General Electric company in 1889. After - the building transformed into the Schenectady Gazette headquarters. In our renovations - we have kept the history and charm of the building with the original printing press from 1894 and our exposed brick interior.

This historic Japanese garden and summer cottage were built at the turn of the last century. A private estate spanning 125 acres of gardens, fields, streams, mountains and trails, it has remained in the same family all this time. The garden is recognized as an important example of the Japanese “strolling” garden from that era. Because the estate remains in private hands, it is made available by the family for special occasions on a limited basis (2-3 ceremonies per year) The venue includes the Japanese garden and the surrounding meadows and fields. If you are looking for a location for a formal wedding ceremony and reception or a destination wedding site for enjoyment with guests over a long weekend of fun, hiking, fly-fishing etc., this venue offers rare access to an exclusive, one-of-a-kind destination.
