Getting married at the Granite Rose was the best decision we made. The planning team there is absolutely amazing - Anna helped us through most planning sessions, and Jill was our day of coordinator - both amazing at their jobs. Between the Granite Rose staff, and the partnerships with many of our vendors, our wedding went off without a hitch, and we were actually able to enjoy the process. We had an absolute blast on our wedding day, and it was absolutley due to this venue and their staff. I do not think we would have enjoyed our day this much if it had been at a different venue. From the decor, to the food, to the bar, to the dancefloor, everything was amazing. Could not have asked for a better crew - Our banquet coordinator, Joshua, had the most amazing energy, and made sure that my husband and I always had what we needed and that any concerns were addressed immediately. Our bartender, Mariah, was great at her job, and remembered everyone's drink order the entire night. The food was phenomenal - so delicious and our Chefs Jim and Joe were able to accomodate every allergy/request with no fuss. Our entire crew was so professional and we are so impressed by the service they provided (shout out Tirk, Kiara, Jen, and Hunter). We would highly recommend using Wedgewood Weddings for your wedding/event, and in particular looking into the Granite Rose, and their awesome team! We loved it!

Flag Hill was the absolute perfect venue for our wedding! From the stunning scenery to the incredible food, everything exceeded our expectations. We chose the BBQ menu, and our guests couldn’t stop raving about how delicious it was. The ceremony was gorgeous, set against such a beautiful backdrop, and we danced the night away surrounded by everything we had envisioned. The team at Flag Hill—Ryan, Jackie, and Nicole—were wonderful to work with and made the planning process so smooth. Their day-of planner was a lifesaver, keeping everything organized so we could truly enjoy every moment. The on-site bridal suite made getting ready so easy and allowed us to relax, soak in the day, and feel at home. Historic, breath taking 4 story barn The farm and barn are about 200 years old, and the barn was originally used for cows. Over the years, it has been very well taken care of, so the original beams are still there, in sizes and shapes that you just can't get anymore! The owners are the third generation in their family to take care of the property and are very grateful to be the current stewards. The barn renovations completed in 2020 and it is all ADA compliant and up to code. In the barn, there is a full sound system, 14 chandeliers, a beautiful live edge bar top, two high end composting toilets (the flushing kind!), massive barn blue doors on each end, and a grand entrance staircase. The barn holds up to 200 people and is big enough that you don't have to rent a tent even with tables and chairs, a major benefit and money saver! In the event of rain, you can use the barn as a ceremony and reception space.

We got married at the Envio on May 6 after 1.5 years of planning. The coordinator, Katryn, is amazing at her job and made everything easy to understand along the way. In our opinion the Envio is a great value for the area. All of our guests enjoyed their stay at the hotel, as well as the wedding itself from the contemporary design of the event space to the food and beverage!

From the moment we booked Jimmy's Jazz & Blues Club for our wedding, their communication was detailed and compassionate. The space we used (Gallery Side) was artsy and open with a twist of flair. They made sure everything was set up exactly how we wanted it, and even let us come in early to decorate with all our personal touches. The team was incredibly accommodating, promptly responding to any requests we had. The bartender they provided was the best, crafting our signature drinks to perfection. Finding the perfect spot for our rehearsal dinner felt like searching for a hidden gem. We needed a venue that could comfortably hold 150 guests, offered a delicious menu, and had a charming atmosphere. Thankfully, our hunt led us to Portsmouth Gas Light's 3rd floor! From the moment we stepped into this beautiful downtown building (conveniently close to a parking garage!), we knew it was special. But what truly made the night unforgettable was Michelle, the Function Manager. Michelle was an absolute rockstar! She helped us navigate everything with ease, from handling dietary restrictions to selecting the perfect menu options and ensuring all our needs were met. The entire function team was professional and attentive, making the whole evening flow seamlessly. And let's not forget the food! It was incredible. Our guests raved about everything they tried. We had the pleasure of having our ceremony take place at the breathtaking South Church. We are so glad we decided to have our ceremony there because it was a great experience from beginning to end. Jen was AMAZING to work with! She was very attentive and answered all of our questions with no problems. She was also there during the wedding day to make sure everything goes smoothly. We did not have a day of wedding coordinator, but Jen stepped in and helped us throughout our ceremony and coordinated the timing of the wedding party during the processional. The church also has an organ or a piano that can be used. We had an organist play the organ for our wedding and let me tell you.... it was the most beautiful thing I've heard. Definitely goosebumps when I walked down the aisle lol! We are so thankful for Jen and her professionalism! I 100% recommend this venue to anyone looking for a gorgeous church venue! I guarantee you will have such a smooth and easy planning and wedding with Jen by your side!

We had our perfect wedding day at Union Lake Orchard in September. I cannot say enough about this beautiful venue and the amazing owners! The barn was absolutely beautiful, the orchards and flowers in bloom were incredible. Guests raved about the venue and how rustic and timeless it is. We were able to do our ceremony out in the orchard followed by our reception in the barn. Karen and Kyle made our wedding planning experience so much easier than I imagined. Karen was very flexible, offering us to come by the barn multiple times to get ideas on how we would like to set up our decor, where we would like tables placed, etc. I must have texted Karen 50 questions throughout the planning process and she always responded in a kind and timely manner. Kyle helped so much with setting up and cleaning up. During set up, the arch I brought fell and broke and Kyle offered us an arch they had at the venue which was even more perfect than our original one! Karen helped to direct traffic and had guests move their vehicles to a different location so they were not in our wedding photos. I cannot thank them enough for all they did for us! We truly had the most amazing day and I constantly get comments from guests about the amazing vibes, beautiful pictures and what a great time they had! Thank you for making wedding planning so much less stressful!

We loved having our wedding at the Seacoast Science Center. The venue is simply stunning. We were able to have both our ceremony and reception there with gorgeous views. Holly was so responsive over email during the process. Guests loved being able to go inside and see the marine animals too - it made for such unique and memorable experiences. We had the perfect day thanks to their help in the planning process and day of coordination and management. Our guests raved about the food, the bar, and most of all - the view. Not only was Dionna a partner in helping us secure our other vendors (who were 10/10 themselves!!), but she went above and beyond the day of to make sure every detail matched our vision. (You can see my face when we saw our reception space for the first time in the pictures.) If we had it to do all over again, we wouldn’t change a thing! Would highly recommend The View and their staff for any event needs!

From the very beginning, their communication was top-notch - they were always responsive to our emails and texts, and made time to meet with us whenever we needed. They truly went above and beyond to make sure all of our questions were answered and that we felt taken care of throughout the entire planning process. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful and totally customizable to fit your vision. We loved how flexible they were in letting us personalize the space to make it our own. The only downside was that there wasn't a suite for the groom to get ready in, but the bride and bridesmaids had a lovely space to get ready. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better wedding venue. Zorvino Vineyards made our special day so easy and stress-free. We highly recommend booking them - you won't regret it!

We cannot say enough about how incredible Foster’s was for our wedding. We held our reception in the Pavilion Room, and it was absolutely perfect. The room provided ample space for all of our guests to dine comfortably and dance the night away, with high ceilings and a rustic, elegant vibe that wasn’t overly beachy—exactly what we were looking for. The two beautiful fireplaces on either side of the room added a cozy touch to the ambiance. Our ceremony took place on their gorgeous lawn, framed by a stunning tree line and a picturesque pond complete with a fountain. A special shout-out to Roxanne, our day-of coordinator, who truly made our day flawless. From helping us select appetizers, meals, and bar service, to setting up an ambiance that wowed both us and our guests, she was with us every step of the way. Her attention to detail and calming presence were invaluable, and she ensured that the entire day ran smoothly, handling everything we needed—and things we didn’t even realize we needed—with grace and professionalism. Speaking of food, the catering was beyond amazing. We chose the beef tenderloin with bordelaise sauce and Atlantic grilled salmon, and both were cooked to perfection. The meatball appetizers were an absolute highlight—people are still talking about them! What’s more, the food was surprisingly affordable for the high quality. Foster’s and their incredible team curated the most memorable experience of a lifetime for us. We will forever sing their praises. I had a wonderful wedding thanks to Patrick and his family. It unfortunately rained but we were able to move things around to accommodate, Patrick and his family were very helpful with setting things up. I recommend hiring a good tent company the one I used I wasn’t happy with. The bridal suite and barn was a great touch that helped a lot with the rain and getting ready. I highly recommend this venue if you are looking for a simple, rustic, organic, all natural wedding.

We had our wedding at Steeple Hall earlier this month and we have not stopped hearing the rave reviews about Nik and the team at Steeple hall. Our day went without a hitch and we could have not asked for a better venue and team than the ones at Steeple Hall. On top of everything the food was so delicious friends and family are planning on going back to have the food served because it was that good. Union Bluff Meeting House was the picture-perfect venue for our wedding! The views are absolutely breathtaking, and the charm of York and the Short Sands beach area gave the whole day a nostalgic, small beach-town feel that we loved. From start to finish, the venue was incredibly organized and easy to work with, thanks to our amazing wedding coordinator, Annie Dalton. Annie is an absolute SUPERSTAR! She is so organized, on top of her game, and made everything run so smoothly. If there were any issues during the day, we still have no clue because she handled everything so seamlessly. Annie guided us through the entire day without ever being overbearing. She thought of every little detail—even when we went to collect our wedding cards at the end of the reception, she saw me carrying dessert and flowers to the bridal suite and immediately joked, "Lizzie, you're all set." She had already placed my bouquet in water, wrapped up our cake, and even prepared a dessert spread for us. Truly unreal! Leading up to the wedding, Annie was super responsive over email, which made us feel so comfortable and confident going into the weekend. I cannot recommend Union Bluff Meeting House enough—it’s a stunning venue—but honestly, Annie made the experience unforgettable. She is simply the best, and any couple would be lucky to have her on their team!

We cannot speak highly enough about the Atkinson Country Club! The coordinators and other staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The venue if beautiful in any season and the food is really good. We got married 4/27/24 and were extremely lucky with the weather. We got married on the patio outside and used the Fairview room for our reception. My only con with the venue/ outdoor ceremony is the chairs. There is nothing wrong with them, they just aren’t aesthetically pleasing. There are multiple reception halls at this venue and they can accommodate more than one wedding at a time. The bridal suite is very big and has adorable vintage decor. There are so many perks like center pieces, a night stay, golf vouchers, and much more. We decided to book during the “winter season” and got an amazing deal! Again cannot recommend enough!

FULL DISCLOSURE- I am actually the Leavitt's Events Coordinator, however this season I simultaneously became a Leavitt Bride. I was genuinely excited to host my wedding at the theatre, but admittedly I also imagined it would give me some helpful insight for work- letting me know where points for improvement were in both the space and the process. What I found out was pleasantly affirming-- we truly had AN INCREDIBLE wedding at The Leavitt. Our ceremony was down the road on Ogunquit Beach, and we paraded up to the theatre like New Orleans met New England! Our guests were greeted with an oyster bar & bubbly and the night went off without a hitch from there. Live music was a big priority for us, and we had a 5-piece band set up on the main stage. After we had our first dance & speeches up there, the space transformed! With the help of professional sound & lighting technicians, our reception felt like a tried and true concert. People are still talking about the ambiance and vibe to this day. The vision for our wedding was to throw a giant party for the people in our lives who helped us get to where we are today. We wanted a space where people could eat, drink, dance & repeat all night. We did not want to get weighed down in other details that were less important to us. I think The Leavitt perfectly mirrored & supported our vision and priorities, and we now have a wedding we TRULY loved as a lifelong memory. Vanessa, who resides on site at Veasey Park, made our planning and event execution a total breeze! Her recommendations for bartender and tent/event setup were exactly what we needed. They were attentive and professional. Everyone we encountered in planning and holding our event were so easy to get in touch with, and Vanessa walked us through every step of the way. If you love a beautiful outdoor setting like we do, this historical park is for you! The grounds are stunning, complete with an old 1920’s hunting lodge built by the Veasey family. The park offers stunning views of the lake below, a great playground for young guests to enjoy, and if you time your event correctly, you will find the local farmer bringing his goats in to graze on the abundant vegetation. This venue really focuses on maintaining the natural beauty of the property, both inside and out! If you are looking for a cozier, cooler weather setup, just look to the gorgeous hunting lodge with it’s beautiful hardwood floors and stone chimneys! It was an absolute dream, and we couldn’t have been happier with our choosing Veasey Park for a wedding party!

We had a wonderful experience at Black Swan. All staff were friendly and helpful, and Donna is such a pleasure to work with. She handled our 2-day cultural wedding celebration with calm and professionalism, and had no issue with a number of things that were important to us, like bringing in a horse for a baraat and including Indian catering. We got compliments all weekend about how smoothly everything unfolded. BSCC also happens to be one of the slightly more affordable venues on the North Shore, but the views are stunning! I really can't recommend this place enough.

Absolutely speechless. Dell-Lea is chef’s kiss perfect. We had the most amazing fall weather and foliage and sunset. Completely blow away by how effortlessly beautiful the day was - we brought no outside/ceremony decorations because the backdrop is so stunning. Laurie - our day of coordinator - was the master of all masters. She handled everything and seemed to be in 10 places at once all night long. She always checked in with us to see if we needed more food or drinks. She seamlessly handled a vendor snafu - our three bus drivers did not order a meal when I asked before our final headcount was due, but requested a meal on arrival at the venue. Laurie provided them each a meal and I didn’t hear a peep about it until the night was over! She helped my family pack up our decorations at the end of the night and made sure we had everything we needed. She even donated my bridesmaids bouquets to a local nursing home! The food - cannot say enough about how delicious the food was. Multiple guests came up to us during and shortly after dinner service to rave about their meals - the stuffed chicken, espresso encrusted filet, and cashew cheese ravioli. All so good, and my husband and I had all three at our table! The appetizers - incredible! The family recipe crab rangoons are worth the hype! The bartenders were incredible all night and nailed our signature cocktails. Working with Dell-Lea was seamless. I sent only a handful of emails before our details meeting because everything is so clear. Dell-Lea offers rental decorations, so we chose to rent table numbers, eucalyptus strands, centerpiece accents, and popular signage, saving us so much money. We cannot say enough good things about Dell-Lea - our day was so beautiful and perfect. We hope to be a guest at Dell-Lea someday!

I wouldn't do a single thing differently when it comes to choosing a venue. From our very first tour of the Estate, we knew they were setting the bar both aesthetically and in terms of planning, and no other venue surpassed it! Amy and Helen were extremely helpful during the planning process, providing excellent forms and schedules that guided us through. Because Fireside Catering owns and caters at the venue, everything could be discussed and planned all at once, which was great for us as we were coordinating our wedding out of state. On the day of, Amy, Casey and other staff members were beyond kind and helpful. Everyone was extremely attentive to our needs and it really felt like a luxury experience. Everything was run smoothly and professionally. The fact that they take care of setup and cleanup meant that my husband and I could be excited about celebrating our marriage without thinking about logistics. There are all kinds of backdrops for photos - beautiful forest surrounding the building, gorgeous interiors of the Estate. The food was excellent! All our guests said they had a great time, and the dance floor was packed all night! We seriously could not have asked for a more magical day, and it is all thanks to Amy, Helen, and the team at the Stevens Estate. We are so grateful for all their hard work!

We had the best experience with the Bedford Event Center. Everyone was so kind, professional, and most importantly, approachable. Communication was clear, costs were discussed upfront and were very reasonable. There were no surprise surcharges that we needed to worry about. They provided and set up linens, tables and chairs, and we could bring in pretty much any caterer/food we wanted. They have fun features like uplighting and the cloud over the ballroom. They worked with us to create a signature drink that was a hit. Not to mention, it’s gorgeous! They’ve done a great job creating a space that can be used for a variety of events. In short, working with the Bedford Event Center was a breeze and we couldn’t be happier. Thank you!

Based on previous reviews of weddings at the Colony, we lowered our expectations for wedding day but stuck with the venue as it is stunning, large enough for all of our guests, and in our preferred location of Kennebunkport. Our wedding exceeded expectations and was PERFECT, other than the cloudy day. Nicole is the best! Since we started planning over a year ago, there have been three different wedding coordinators at the Colony and we are SO grateful that Nicole was the one with us in the final months and on our day. She really executed every little detail of our day to make it perfect. Nicole provided such great insight and recommendations, a testament to her years of experience. The Colony is lucky to have her! Of course we could not have had such an amazing wedding weekend without the wonderful staff at the Colony. We are seriously blown away by all of the hotel staff and the staff on the day of, they were extremely prompt, professional, and helpful to make our vision come alive and stick to our requested timeline. The chef and kitchen staff were able to serve 190 entrees in 20 minutes, incredible! The food was also delicious, we received several compliments about the appetizers, entrees, late night food, and morning after breakfast. Most of our guests stayed at the Colony and found the rooms lovely and comfortable. The new Coveside rooms provided a great option for guests seeking more modern accommodations.

I was a floral designer providing centerpieces for a baby shower held there last fall (2023), in the Phillips Room. My experience as a vendor there was great. The venue was immaculate and modern inside, with the classic New England charm and vibe. The staff could not have been more helpful. They helped me with load-in, and the setup people were friendly and efficient. The coordinator Linda was also friendly, professional and on top of all the many details for the event (food, drinks, balloons, florals, favors, etc.). The room was light and airy, with lots of windows and light. The neutral background would work for almost any color palette. It is a beautiful venue in a classic New England setting, and I highly recommend it!

We had our first experience with Wandby Landing last weekend and our impression was such we felt a review was warranted. Having played over 600 weddings as a band over the last couple decades, every once in a while you get to work with a vendor who just gets it. They understand the importance of the entire day, from morning preparations to the late night after-party. It's almost impossible to maintain a timeline to the minute, but this was about as close as we've seen. Communication with the staff helped ensure guests were in their seats ready for the First Dance and toasts right on schedule, and from an entertainers perspective, this is EXACTLY what we want to see! This ensures that not only do guests get to enjoy one of the best wedding meals they'll ever experience, but they'll do so at a comfortable pace that leaves time for both an incredible meal AND a night full of dancing, and not just one or the other.
