“Brian is one of the best wedding DJs in the business. In the past two years I’ve been to eight different weddings. Brian was the DJ for three of the eight, and the party/reception component of the events was never more fun than when Brian was driving the bus. He is an east coast DJ, but he spun tracks at both of my sister-in-laws’ weddings and as we were searching for a DJ for our own wedding we reached out just to see what he would charge for a wedding in Chicago. Turns out the price was right. Brian traveled to Chicago, MC’d our entire wedding, brought all of the equipment necessary and made our day exceptional in every way. I think there are a few things that really set Brian apart from other wedding DJs. Anyone can stand there and run through a playlist, but Brian went off book a few times to match and capture the energy of the guests. As we were in the midst of the planning process he added zero stress, and just calmly walked us through the process of selecting songs. He had suggestions and recommendations along the way. He even brought an extra speaker so that we could plug our digital piano in and the pianist would be able to play loudly enough. Overall, we can’t recommend Brian highly enough. They dressed appropriately for our wedding theme and many of the guests at the Hawthorne Hotel wanted to take pictures with Karlea in her Twenties attire. When we contacted them, they set up a private and intimate showcase where we got to sit down with the whole band and their DJ and ask a million questions. They also played a mini set and took our requests LIVE on the spot -- that blew us away. When it came time to our actual wedding, they were so polished, warm, friendly but most importantly energetic and fun. We had a wide range of ages at our wedding from kids under 12 to our great grandparents over 90 -- and all of them raved about how great they were. They were able to play our first dance live which made for a really special moment for my wife and me. Couldn't recommend them enough to the next couple. They are an absolute blast!”
