My name is Nadia. I specialize in elopements + adventure weddings in the Pacific Northwest. I help people have the wedding of their dreams in magical outdoor spaces. When you choose to elope, you’re choosing to get married free of society’s wedding day expectations. So go wild! Spend the entire day in your favorite place, with your favorite person. Wear a fancy outfit, or wear your hiking boots. Invite your dog instead of your mom’s second cousin. Share your first kiss under the stars instead of under an altar. In the great outdoors, you write the wedding rules. And I’m here to help make it an experience you’ll remember for a lifetime.

Awarded Best of Zola
When we began looking for a photographer for our micro-wedding, we gravitated towards Nadia’s images over and over again. Not only did they capture raw, intimate moments between couples and families, but they elevated those moments in elegant and natural landscapes of the PNW; everything we wanted. We reached out and set up a consultation call immediately. We were initially nervous and felt very unprepared to speak with photographers because we had zero ideas for what our special day would look like, but after our call with Nadia we were confident that Venture Ever After was the right choice for us. She was so knowledgeable and did a TON of legwork planning our timeline to best capture the moments we wanted in the lighting we needed, recommending a variety of locations for some private moments as a couple and group activities with our family, and keeping us grounded and calm throughout the entire process. On our wedding day, Nadia took the reigns and gently guided us through the day with compassion and grace. She constantly reminded us that each moment was for us and encouraged us to revel in all of the details. She even conquered some pretty crazy heights armed with multiple cameras and a walky-talky to capture some dramatic and beautiful couple’s portraits. Beyond being an incredible photographer, Nadia is one of the most genuine and kind people I’ve met. She has a knack for keeping elopement/wedding day energy light and helping her clients feel natural in front of the camera. My partner and I truly felt like models. I feel so blessed to have our wedding photographed by her and, above all, be able to call her a friend. I would recommend Nadia at Venture Ever After to everyone planning an elopement, wedding, or adventure in the PNW. In fact, I hope to be able to visit her and capture anniversaries and momentous occasions for our family long into the future.

As an artist in the 21st century, I am overwhelmed by all that we cannot trust. The landscapes are edited, the portraits are airbrushed, and the legitimacy of what we see on social media is anyone's guess. That's why it is my passion and life pursuit to capture our most precious things in life - our loves, our families, our unrepeatable moments - in the most true-to-life and timeless way possible. I live for the unguarded moments that take our breath away. If you want to capture this time in your life in all its perfect authenticity, it's my job and my joy to capture the soul of these things for you to hold in time forever.

We have used Elizabeth twice now and I would recommend her to anyone who needs a creative and professional photographer. She treats you like family and that is very important when trusting someone to capture priceless moments. Elizabeth is attentive, approachable, and easy to work with. I can’t say enough wonderful things about her and her work.

A time capsule of who you are and how you love. Captured on digital, 35mm, and medium format. For those looking for memories, not just images. I am a photographer who is about keeping things fun and lighthearted, reminiscing on moments between you and your partner as well as helping create new ones. My goal is for you to be present on your day and to receive images that aren't just art, but memories to keep. Your images are meant to represent you and that's what I do. Please feel free to inquire on my website!

Hiring your photographer is a huge decision that can honestly make or break experience: Elita is the best decision we’ve made for our engagement, wedding, and next big chapters ahead in our future! It was serendipitous that our paths crossed with Elita! TikTok brought us together, and I am forever grateful to the algorithm and Elita for this. It’s rare that you find someone who truly cares and puts their entire being into their craft but we found this in Elita. She’s been such a support system from Day 1. Her call with you is so thorough it feels like talking to your best friend. She really cares about every detail and wants to ensure she captures your vision through and through. She is dedicated, creative, and immensely talented. On our actual wedding day, she was basically our photographer and planner all in one. She kept the day going according to schedule and really helped alleviate my stresses. She is very professional but kind! Truly an angel. Do not hesitate to hire her for your photos. She provides great prompts to keep you engaged during your shoot and effortlessly captures moments/feelings rather than just posed shots. We did our engagement photos and now wedding photos with her and I am blown away. As a photographer myself, it was so nice to feel SEEN as the muse rather than being behind the camera. She really sees you, your partner, and everyone involved. Elita makes you feel seen and that is one of the highest forms of love an artist can provide. We will treasure our engagement and wedding photos for generations. Her photos are art and deserve all the praise. Thank you Elita!!

***I specialize in small events! Elopements and Micro Weddings. Hi Friends! I'm Alexandria! I'm a bubbly, dog lover who loves exploring and experiencing new things, so I'm so lucky to have found my home in Washington. I'm obsessed with tall trees, could stare at the waves crashing against the beach for hours, and love the jaw-dropping feeling I get when I see something truly just majestic in the mountains.

Alexandria is quite literally the best wedding photographer on the face of the planet - and I never exaggerate! ;) Not only did she capture our day so perfectly, but she catered to our exact vision and went above and beyond. Since my wedding, I've been telling all soon-to-be brides that the photographer is the most important vendor of the day because of how much time you spend with them, especially during intimate moments. Alexandria was so phenomenal to be around on our day and did such a great job of making sure we felt comfortable, had fun, and enjoyed the day. Not only is she amazingly talented, but just an all around lovely human. Thanks Alexandria for making our day the best ever!!!

Hey! We’re Kate (she/her) and Josh (he/him) — a married wedding photography duo who show up with coffee in hand, backup snacks in the bag, and cameras ready to chase the kind of magic you’ll still be talking about 30 years from now. Based in the Pacific Northwest (and always down to travel), we’ve been documenting weddings for over 15 years — focused not on perfection, but on presence. We’re here for the real stuff: the awesome dance moves, the wild laughter, the soft hand squeezes, the inside jokes, the stolen glances, the last deep breath before you say I do. Your love isn’t staged — and your photos shouldn’t be either.

As soon as we met with Kate, we knew we wanted to choose her to do our wedding photos. She was highly communicative with us and when it came to the photo session, she and her husband Josh were so fun to work with. They are easy to talk to and are genuinely enthusiastic people. They make you feel comfortable in front of a camera and provide the much needed guidance and direction for how to pose and look your best self. Our wedding was affected by the pandemic and it was taking a huge toll on us but Kate and Josh were SUPER accommodating and worked with us on making our pandemic wedding a success. We couldn’t be more thankful for choosing such wonderful photographers who delivered not only phenomenal photos but phenomenal customer service.

I love what I do because I get to witness moments of joy and turn them into gorgeous photos that contain the feeling of the moment forever. My style is a little classic, a little editorial, a little photojournalistic, and everything about telling your one and only story. When you look back at your photos in one, five, twenty or fifty years, I want you to remember how the day felt, each photo holding a moment in time.

Awarded Best of Zola
I worked with Emily for our engagement photos and wedding day photography and can't say enough good things about her. She's organized, she's on top of it, she's super easy going, she's funny, she's thoughtful, and she takes amazing photos that truly capture your day. Working with her was a breeze and our photos were delivered faster than anticipated! On our wedding day, she somehow seamlessly patched in photo sessions, and when we weren't in designated photo sessions, she somehow took a bunch of candid photos and we didn't even realize she was there. We even had a massive bump in the timeline because of football-game-day traffic and road closures, but the timeline Emily built for us had enough buffer that we didn't miss a single photo session AND our wedding started on time... Simply amazing. If you're on the fence, just go with Emily! You will not regret it!

My husband is my second photographer, so we come as a photo team! Just like you, I have felt awkward in front of the camera. I’ve had photos taken of me that I didn’t like. When you go on a session with me, I will not only make you feel comfortable, but I will make sure you look good! I will give you prompts to keep you moving so you look and feel natural and comfortable. I’m sorry but there are some angles, and poses that are not flattering for everyone. Like, please don’t take a photo of me from below! Hello double chin! What I’m saying is, I Got You!

PictureMeThisByLacie was one of the best decisions we made throughout the wedding process. Lacie was amazing to work with the entire time. She was easy to communicate with and kept us updated on our photo timelines, not to mention all of our photos turned about AMAZING. Our package included an engagement session and Lacie worked out a weekend she was already in Chicago to accommodate us. Leading up to our session, we had issues with controlled fires and protests in our preferred location, but Lacie found us a spot that blew my expectations for photos out of the water. She gave us a sneak peak and also got our pictures back to us super quick. On our big day, Lacie and Tim(her husband/second photographer) were the best to work with. They made us feel comfortable and captured our day better than we could have imagined. As soon as they got there, they got straight to work. Lacie got all the details and getting ready photos that I will cherish forever. Things were running behind the day of and they let us add on an hour to our contract the day of and pay at a later date. This ensured that we got dance floor photos and it was so worth it! Specifically getting pictures of my husband's grandmother in her 80s dancing with all her grandkids. We received a sneak peak very quickly and our whole (massive) gallery less than 2 months after the wedding. For as many photos as we got, this was a crazy quick turn around. Overall, PictureMeThisByLacie captured our day better than we could have ever imagined, we could not recommend them more!

My favorite things are dinosaurs, exploring new cities, board games, soccer, National Parks, and whiskey. I have been fortunate to photograph 200+ weddings in my PNW home, to ruins in Scotland, cityscapes in Vietnam, to the beaches of Maui, and beyond! I live in Portland, Oregon with my two dogs and three cats | 🏳️‍🌈🦖⛰️✈️📸⚽🫶🏼🌈🌲🦕🏝 Fun Fact: I was born on Leap Year Day so I'm 9 years old 🥳!

Having Leah shoot our wedding was epic!! She really captured the mood of our wedding and took the reins, finding the most gorgeous spots around the venue for our photos. Looking back at the photos we were in awe, she captured all of the most special moments, even when we weren’t aware of her presence! She was easy going which made us feel so comfortable and she gave us some direction which was so helpful for us! Thanks again Leah!
