“Scott and his team from the Music Boutique were absolutely amazing in everyway possible (total package of amazing people, professionals, and just so talented) . If you like, read no further and just hire them (seriously!!)! If you are like me and need to hear a personal experience for convincing; here goes: being a postponed 2020 covid bride who changed location within 3 months - working with Scott and his team was seamless . From my first email to the Music Boutique, Scott (the owner) responded within 24 hours with everything I had inquired about. We emailed several times since then with what I thought were annoying or silly questions, but he answered everything in full detail and even spoke on the phone with me several times. Going above and beyond, he even went as far as telling me about how the ceremony usually goes and what others have done (as I was pretty confused). He was able to play every random song I requested. He played piano along with a violinist for my ceremony, and had a awesome saxophone player, Geoff for part of my reception. Geoff was able to also play some pretty random songs (hooks to old school rap) along with my DJ (DJ Joey G from Jade Productions who was also great). Overall - I could not recommend Scott and his team more. Hope this helps you pick them!”

“Kevin is AMAZING!!! He DJed our wedding celebration in May 2024, and WOW - he was 100000% our dream DJ. We had eloped a year earlier, so our "vision" for the night was to have an epic dance party with all of our friends - Kevin understood this immediately, and delivered truly beyond our wildest imagination! He kept the vibes moving during cocktail hour, and then seriously BROUGHT THE PARTY. The dancefloor was packed for over 3 hours straight. It felt like every single person there asked us where we had found our DJ, and they couldn't believe the mixes he was doing on the fly!! From the moment I first reached out to him in January right up until the end of the event, Kevin was consistently professional, upbeat, and efficient. He replied to all communication quickly, and was SO thoughtful in his preparation. He provided a shared document months ahead of time so that we could share music and scheduling info, and on the night of the event it was so evident that he had paid attention to every single detail ever mentioned in the document, over Zoom, or on our site visit. Every single must-play song came on at the perfect time, he managed to source very specific remixes that I had mentioned, and he kept the night running on schedule with such a chill, stress-free, and adaptable vibe. Kevin even introduced us to his colleague Richie for dance lights when we were debating our lighting options, which also ended up being absolutely perfect! I cannot stress enough how collaborative and understanding Kevin is, how smooth the process was, and most importantly - what a KILLER DJ he is. He truly wants to deliver the night of your dreams. My heart felt like it was going to explode in the best way multiple times that night, because of all the incredible, better-than-you-could-ever-have-imagined dancefloor moments. I wish we had an excuse to do it all over again, I would work with Kevin again in a heartbeat!!!”

“In today's world everything is extremely overpriced and service is terrible. My wedding was very stressful for me because of this. I did not have a DJ or a Photographer and honestly was considering just something small scale, until I talked to Ed from DJ Double E. I would give them 10 stars out 5. From the minute I talked to Ed it was a breath of fresh air from the million other outrageously priced DJ's. The price is unbeatable but that's not why I would recommend them. They are absolutely phenomenal and made my entire wedding. The music was perfect from ceremony to the last dance. They were so professional, so involved and so fun. We had a daytime (early) wedding. It is so challenging to get people up and have a good time at 12:30 in the afternoon, I was having meltdowns about it, they reassured me but had the entire place up and having fun. You didn't know if it was day or night. They helped us more than the attendants at the venue. Over 100 guests said how amazing they were. The pictures they took could not be any better. Any other DJ who had packages like this (photo booth etc...) were THOUSANDS, yes THOUSANDS, more!!! I really hate to admit but I'm not easily pleased however I would put my name on the line for DJ Double E after how they made my wedding. DJ Double E exceeded all my and my husband's expectations and -consider yourself lucky if you hire them for any event. I'll be calling them again!!!”

“I met Jamie while he was DJing at a venue in Manhattan many moons ago. I was immediately pleased with the music he chose and went up to the booth and we got to talking about music and art. He was so easy going and truly in tune with the beat of the venue. We kept in touch and I then went to several more of his venues where he was DJing with friends and also with my (now) husband. When we decided to get married and keep it really small our one must-have was excellent music because we love dancing but are not fans of standard wedding DJ music. I immediately contacted Jamie and on short notice he was able to schedule a meeting with us to discuss our needs. Jamie came prepared with a list of questions and helped us work through the different moods we wanted to set and organized the music choices. We gave him some ideas and he did the legwork of deciding what specific songs would lead into each of the unique parts of a wedding and reception (dancing, eating, more dancing, only the young people dancing, etc.). To this day my husband and I talk about how much fun we had at our wedding and how we were really able to make every piece of it ours - right down to the music that was not pulled off some Billboard chart but that truly reflected us and the people in our lives. In fact Jamie was so great the venue asked if he would be willing to come back and DJ some of their future events :)”

“We booked Mama Juke for our 9/24/2022 wedding and they did not disappoint. I can’t say I wasn’t nervous, as they didn’t have any reviews posted yet, but Jon was very helpful in addressing all our concerns and they kept our guests entertained and dancing all night long! They learned our first dance song- Golden Hour by Kacey Musgraves and put their own flair to it, which we loved. They are such a fun mix of rock, jazz, bluegrass, country and played a good mix of songs for all ages. I would also recommend listening to some of their original songs and including them in your day, my husband and I were so happy we did. :) I want to have another wedding just so we can have them play again!”
