“I cannot recommend Gina enough! She was so on top of everything. She regularly checked in with us and made sure we were on schedule for an entire year leading up to our wedding, and I oftentimes forgot she had clients other than us because she was so attentive. Any time there was a problem with a vendor, Gina was swooping in to save the day. She got us upgrades with our hotel and truly had our best interest in mind throughout this entire process. I cannot imagine planning a wedding without her, she was such a huge help. I remember as I was arm and arm with my father, about to walk down the aisle I heard a baby start screaming (despite instructing guests that this was a child-free wedding). It was my turn to walk and I said, "Gina wait! there's a baby crying" and I'll never forget, she said "Don't worry, I put it in the elevator! You're good!" (with it's parent of course lol) One of the best decisions I made for my wedding was choosing Lucid events.”

Framed and displayed all over the house within hours of receiving them. The videos? Watched as often as you read your child a bedtime story. The day of? Amazing, lovely, smooth as a babies butt. We had bumps throughout planning and they were quickly resolved, we had bumps the day of, and we were able to sit back and laugh about it because we knew we were in good hands. “The Wedding Planner/Day of Coordinator position is arguably one of the hardest decisions you have to make for your wedding day. You're effectively entrusting one person to keep the trains on the track on your special day, and a wrong decision can lead to headaches and chaos. I'm more of a hands-on bride than most and had already done a considerable amount of research regarding my wedding. I had a strong vision of what I wanted and had already made a lot of decisions, so I opted to go with Tahimy's Day of Coordinator service instead of full the Wedding Planning services. Even before Tahimy came on as my Day of Coordinator, she was happy to go the extra mile, and was an absolute asset to my wedding planning process. She was quick to answer questions, recommend venues and vendors, and offer guidance even before I hired her. She stayed in contact with me throughout the process as I narrowed down venues. I did not go with one of her recommended venues for budgeting reasons, but I still wanted to have her on my wedding day dream team and I was delighted that she said yes. Her service starts 30 days out before the wedding, but 3 months before she insisted on going with me to a meeting at my venue. Her knowledge and expertise helped me make quick decisions and also brought up things I hadn't considered in the planning process, allowing me to seamlessly pivot and adjust when necessary. My wedding was on a Sunday, but her and her husband showed up to help set up my decor the day before, as my venue had a limited setup time on Sundays. On the day of the wedding Tahimy and her team stayed on top of every detail to keep things running smooth. I don't know if anything went wrong as I was too busy having a great time to notice, and that's really the whole point of hiring a Day of Coordinator. You want someone on your side that's looking out for the details, so that you can just sit back and celebrate. Tahimy is that person.”

“Hiring Ohana and working with Sonya was easily the best decision we made while wedding planning. I was hesitant to hire an outside coordinator because we had a venue coordinator, but the venue coordinator does not do nearly the amount that Ohana does. Hiring Ohana is a NEED. I was first introduced to Danielle and we instantly connected. I felt she understood my vision and wanted to help create our dream wedding. We were lucky enough to be assigned to Sonya for the 90-day coordination package and she was the kindest, most patient, and organized planner. She responded quickly to emails and answered all of my questions, she took over communication with vendors and relieved much of the planning stress, she provided detailed checklists and kept me on track. She also created a detailed by the minute itinerary for the entire weekend for us, our vendors, and a shorthand version for our bridal party which was extremely helpful. Our wedding day was seamless with no hiccups and I can honestly thank Sonya for that. She made sure to keep the day moving on schedule, communicated with all of the vendors, and made sure to check in with me often. Even wedding guests and our parents gave raving reviews for Sonya.
