Tahimy was so amazing. We hired her last minute when unfortunately we found out that our venue didn’t come with a day-of-coordinator when we thought it did. So we ended up having to look for one a month and a half before our wedding day. Tahimy stepped in and became more of a month-of-coordinator for us and really took so much stress off of our shoulders. She helped with big things like booking our servers and a coffee caterer. She coordinated with all of our venders and made sure everything would run smooth. She set time aside to answer any questions even late at night when I didn’t expect her to respond until the morning she would text me back. On the day of there was zero stress on me and she worked hard to make sure that if there were any hiccups, I didn’t even notice. My wedding day would not have been as magical as it was if it weren’t for her and I would recommend her to anyone planning their wedding in Miami. Thank you so much Tahimy, we love you!

The Wedding Planner/Day of Coordinator position is arguably one of the hardest decisions you have to make for your wedding day. You're effectively entrusting one person to keep the trains on the track on your special day, and a wrong decision can lead to headaches and chaos. I'm more of a hands-on bride than most and had already done a considerable amount of research regarding my wedding. I had a strong vision of what I wanted and had already made a lot of decisions, so I opted to go with Tahimy's Day of Coordinator service instead of full the Wedding Planning services. Even before Tahimy came on as my Day of Coordinator, she was happy to go the extra mile, and was an absolute asset to my wedding planning process. She was quick to answer questions, recommend venues and vendors, and offer guidance even before I hired her. She stayed in contact with me throughout the process as I narrowed down venues. I did not go with one of her recommended venues for budgeting reasons, but I still wanted to have her on my wedding day dream team and I was delighted that she said yes. Her service starts 30 days out before the wedding, but 3 months before she insisted on going with me to a meeting at my venue. Her knowledge and expertise helped me make quick decisions and also brought up things I hadn't considered in the planning process, allowing me to seamlessly pivot and adjust when necessary. My wedding was on a Sunday, but her and her husband showed up to help set up my decor the day before, as my venue had a limited setup time on Sundays. On the day of the wedding Tahimy and her team stayed on top of every detail to keep things running smooth. I don't know if anything went wrong as I was too busy having a great time to notice, and that's really the whole point of hiring a Day of Coordinator. You want someone on your side that's looking out for the details, so that you can just sit back and celebrate. Tahimy is that person.

A good rule of thumb is to allocate around 10% of your wedding budget to a planner. This ensures you have expert guidance to streamline the planning process, help you make cost-effective decisions, and create a stress-free experience leading up to your big day.

The timeline for planning a wedding varies based on your vision, but ideally, planning starts 12-18 months in advance. However, with the support of a wedding planner, you can create a wonderful event on a shorter timeline as well. We’ll work at your pace and make the process as smooth as possible.

The best month depends on your preferences for weather, availability, and budget. In Miami, June through September are considered off-peak, often with discounted venue pricing due to fewer bookings. Meanwhile, many couples opt for cooler months (November–April) to avoid summer heat and hurricane season. Each season has its own charm, and we can help you pick the perfect time for your vision and budget.

Yes, though it depends on your vision and the complexity of your celebration. Venue and vendor availability may be more limited, so we recommend starting as soon as possible, ideally 12 months in advance. Still, with the right support, we can prioritize the essentials, book top vendors, and organize everything to create a beautiful event within your timeframe.

A great planner handles every detail so you don’t have to. Thanks to established vendor relationships, planners can often secure better rates than you’d get on your own, potentially saving you money in the long run. Plus, we manage all the behind-the-scenes logistics, so you’re free to relax and enjoy your day without the stress.

Over the years, we’ve built strong relationships with venues, DJs, photographers, Florists, etc,. Because we don’t take referral commissions, we can pass along our discounted rates often 10% or more off standard pricing. Our volume and history with these vendors means we can secure deals you might not get on your own.

Ideally, you’ll start with an event planner and designer, then choose a venue, and move on to catering and bar services. Next, secure your florist, photographer, and officiant/priest. Finally, book your DJ, MC, and entertainment. Of course, many couples already have a venue before contacting us, and that’s perfectly fine. As long as you reserve vendors well in advance, the exact order for the last few can be flexible.
