I love this venue! The team is very friendly and accommodating! We were hair and makeup vendors for the day and the team came in and made sure we knew there was food for us and they checked on our team multiple times throughout the day. They were on top of the food and ensuring the bridal party was fed and had everything they needed. I felt very welcome and that they truly cared about the experience everyone had while on property!

I looked at a ton of different venues throughout Austin for my wedding and I KNEW 800 Congress was the one. It delivered on every front. The space is absolutely gorgeous and ready to take on the energy of your event. The location is breathtaking at night in such a gorgeous area of downtown. Make use of the projector screen in the corner of the venue as it can’t be pulled out of sight- we aired a black and white movie during the reception and it added such a flair to the entire event. Everyone was easy and professional to work with, and I had the best wedding day.

Our New Year’s Eve wedding at The Riley Building was an absolute dream come true! From the moment we stepped foot into the venue, we knew it was the perfect place to celebrate our special day. The industrial-chic ambiance combined with the historic charm of the building provided the most picturesque backdrop for our festivities. Booking with Brandon both the venue and the connecting Airbnb was a stroke of genius, allowing us to seamlessly transition from bridal suite to ceremony to after-party without missing a beat. The convenience of having everything in one location made our day stress-free and unforgettable. While we were impressed with the venue’s professionalism and ease of communication throughout the planning process, there was a slight hiccup regarding the sound system. Despite prior assurances, we found out that the sound wasn’t wired to the first floor as we had hoped. However, this minor setback didn’t overshadow the overall amazing experience we had at The Riley Building. A heartfelt thank you to Brandon, Jordyn, Jacob, and the entire team for their hard work and dedication in making our wedding day truly magical. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue to start our journey as a married couple.

We had our Indian wedding in March of 2024 and it was a dream come true thanks to Hotel Viata. We had multiple events spread over a couple of venues but Hotel Viata hosted our guests the entire weekend as well as several of our events. We had a LGBTQ Indian wedding and they truly rose to the occasion. Our main contact Kelsey was FANTASTIC, but we truly received top notch service from everyone-from the folks that welcomed us at the desk to the bartenders and servers at our events. They went above and beyond to learn about our traditions and make each of events special. Honestly, we felt like extended family and our guests raved about the experience. The love, openness and celebratory affection they radiated our entire weekend…well that was priceless. Within their ability, they truly tried to make all of our wishes come true. One example of their kindness was when Kelsey went above and beyond and grabbed food for one of our best friend’s young kids…just because we wanted to make sure she had something that she would definitely eat. We’ll always remember our wedding with love and fondness….it was such a special time. And we’ll always be grateful to Hotel Viata for making our 20-year long dream come true. We had our wedding welcome party at Pinthouse Brewing on South Lamar and it was the perfect location for it! We rented the upstairs space that had its own bar, seating, and a view that overlooked both the downstairs section and part of the brewery. Throughout the event, we had our own bartenders upstairs that could serve drinks as well as a buffet made by Pinthouse for the event–each and every one of our guests raved about the food and beer! Leading up to the event, Stephanie was immensely helpful in answering our questions and getting us through the paperwork. She very kindly responded to our often extensive emails and talked with us on the phone whenever we needed additional clarification. The night of the event went off without a hitch thanks to the team there and we are very grateful to them for helping us put on such a fun night. We would highly recommend this Pinthouse for events!

We had a birthday gathering for my 90 year old sister for her close friends and relatives which turned out to be 110 people. The Activity Center was extremely helpful in getting this set up and had many helpful ideas. Also, as issues arose at the last minute they had solutions. This was a very successful event thanks to the Activity Center staff.

The Terrace at Highland Lakes was an absolute dream venue for our wedding. From the very beginning, their communication style was direct, understanding and open - they were always quick to respond to our questions and accommodate our needs. The quality of their work and value was exceptional. We had our wedding at about 4:30/5 P.M., which was a great time with the sun setting and creating a beautiful glow. The deer were outside watching it all, and the overall view was simply stunning. The inside was clean and open, but the best part was the bridal suite - it was the perfect space for us to get ready in comfort and style. Gabi, the day-of coordinator, was the ultimate MVP. She accommodated us with just about anything we asked for, constantly made sure I was fed and hydrated, and even stepped in to help my bridesmaids with anything they needed. She did more for us on the day than our year-long planner. I wish I had Gabi as my planner as well, because she truly made our special day even more magical. We are so grateful to the entire team at The Terrace at Highland Lakes for helping to create the wedding of our dreams.

We had our rehearsal dinner at Treaty Oak in April. We had about 40 people in the Mercantile room which was probably a bit too many, the tables ended up being placed really close to one another but we made it work. The planning process was a little difficult, communication was often delayed and made us a little anxious but once all the details were worked out the event went really well. The food, drinks and the environment were amazing! I would definitely recommend.

I will start off saying that even now, over a month after the wedding we are still hearing from guests how much they loved in the wedding and a huge piece of that obviously was the Terrace Club. Angel Springs Event Center was a dream venue! It felt like it’s own little gem tucked away from the rest of the world. We had our wedding there is March and it was truly the best day of my life. The property is filled beautiful old trees, white fences, fields and log cabins. The ceremony and reception space was dreamy! The ceremony overlooks a beautiful field surrounded by these same old and winding trees. The sun sets over this field and creates an ideal setting for stunning photography. The event space has amazing stone walls with vines growing around the outside and stunning chandeliers inside. Natalie runs the space and was our day of coordinator. She was the best decision we made! She is kind, patient, and gets things done swiftly and with grace. I would recommend this place highly for a wedding or any event.

Not only was the venue beautiful, but the staff really are the stars of this review. Kim, the venue coordinator was amazing to work with! She was accommodating, available, and such a fun personality to be around. The bar staff that we had serve during our wedding were amazing as well! They were quick and kept the guests moving quickly. Everyone raved about the wedding and how beautiful the venue was. I was scared I wasn’t going to make the venue very wedding like since it’s a distillery, but the space was gorgeous on its own and as a minimalist bride, I was able to include some touches that just made the whole venue stand out. Oh! And the drinks were AMAZING! Kim even went above and beyond by naming some of their drinks to match our names.

The venue itself was beautiful and the perfect mix of outdoor-indoor spaces for our ceremony and reception. The bridal and groom suites were gorgeous, and our food and drink service that morning was wonderful. The Camp Lucy catering and bar staff were also phenomenal the entire night! We stayed on-site in one of the resort suites, and that experience was also above and beyond thanks to the lovely staff. Aside from being a beautiful venue, Camp Lucy is also a wonderful resort with really cool historical points and a great (seriously, so good!) restaurant. We will definitely be back to celebrate our anniversary!

We got married at Cypress Falls on Sept. 19 2020, and it was an absolute dream come true. From decor, to day-of coordination, to on-site accommodations, this is the smartest decision anyone could ever make when choosing their wedding venue. There is so much attention to detail by the staff and they truly embrace you in a way that feels like family. The property itself is incredible and makes for such a fun wedding weekend (or wedding week if you want to extend the party like we did). Our family and friends had a blast at the swimming hole, hanging out in the Tavern, and staying at the Lodge. There is so much Texas charm everywhere you look. The ceremony site is gorgeous and serene. The indoor/outdoor reception area is a perfect setup and the decor turned out stunning. Even when it comes to unconventional details, the staff is there for you in a way that is above and beyond. Many of our family members could not attend the wedding due to travel restrictions with COVID-19. We were able to live-stream the ceremony and reception to them all the way in Australia which is something we will all cherish forever. Special thanks to the staff who made it all possible... I got married here this last December and it was just perfect!! Linda was just amazing and so helpful from the moment we booked the venue all the way up to the wedding, and even after! Linda really just treats you like family and wants to help you in any way she can! Our wedding definitely would not have been the same without her! The venue is beautiful, inside and out completely surrounded by pine trees and flowers I had my wedding in the winter but when it’s warm and sunny out it’s surrounded by butterflies!! All of my guests loved the venue as well, so if you or anyone else you know is looking for a great wedding venue definitely check this place out!

We loved our time with Prima Vista! Ellen was so great to work with and answered my many questions with grace! The venue is so beautiful it needs minimal decor and they have a closet of things to use from other couples! We left some hurricanes, tea lights and chargers there. They also took our flowers to the memory care unit the next day which was so kind.

Larry and I spent almost every Friday night here - listening to his records on Grandma's old record player or sitting on the back porch swing counting the number of cars on the trains as they passed by. We stayed at the Continental and it was so special. They really went the extra mile with all of the extra touches of style. It felt luxurious from the pillow to the shower. We had everything we needed. The trails were fun and pickle ball was great, especially after we had feasted at a local restaurant we had a fun activity to burn off all the the yummy food we had eaten. Walking the grounds we saw so many beautiful spaces, including the tent sites and ponds. We can't wait to return! The hosts are great and they really make sure your stay is a wonderful experience.
