About this venue

The Sanctuary Event Space is an Urban Sanctuary, conveniently location in Downtown Austin, TX. The space is canopied by ancient live oak trees. The lush garden exterior provides a relaxing setting with an at-home backyard feel, enhanced by natural beauty. The landscaping entails inclined garden terraces separated by stone pathways. Capacity is 150 guests for seated dinner events. The venue is ideal for Weddings, Dinners, Cocktail Parties, Baby Showers, Birthdays and special celebrations. There are so many great ways to use the space. Ceremonies can be held beneath the trees, followed by cocktails and dinner by the glow of bistro lights strung between the branches. The Studio's bamboo floor is ideal for dancing, and The Loft makes a perfect dressing area or private post-ceremony getaway. Your rental fee supports the Amala Foundation, whose programs offer leadership training and culturally rich volunteer experiences for young people, both locally and around the world.

    Full Grounds

    Three separate interior spaces. “Full Grounds” includes both the Cottage House, Studio & Tree Top Loft.

    1. Cottage House with full kitchen, furnished living room, bathroom, and dining room with two 8ft tables. 2. Studio which functions as a dance floor for events and can hold 75 for a seated dinner. 3. Tree Top Loft is a perfect Bridal Suite for weddings or VIP green room. 4. Ceremony Site can hold up to 150 seated and Outdoor Grounds can hold 150 seated for dinner with additional room for cocktail reception, a bar and musicians.

      Sanctuary Event Space is an amazing venue located right in the heart of Austin! It's surrounded by large trees and amazing greenery. It perfect for an intimate wedding. We loved it!! The staff was great to work with as well and very helpful!
