The West Mountain Inn was originally built as a farmhouse in 1809. From 1880 to 1920, first a gristmill and then a lumber mill were operated on the Battenkill River at the foot of the mountain. In 1904 Ned and Gwendolyn Rochester purchased the 150 acre farm and began to transform it into an elegant summer estate. After a succession of other residents the estate later became an arts and retreat center.

Fox Run was originally opened in 1969 as a 9-hole executive golf course located on the 150-acre Moore Family dairy farm in Ludlow, Vermont. Local Ludlow resident, Stan Johnson, was hired to design and build the original layout. Current ownership purchased the stunning property with a clear vision; to create a world class golf club, restaurant and wedding and special event facilities that would capture the natural beauty and essence that is Vermont in the picturesque town of Ludlow. Founded in 1814, The West Boylston Company was a large textile manufacturer in West Boylston, MA. At the turn of the century the company faced a crisis: the site of their mill would be flooded to form the Wachusett Reservoir. Instead of abandoning the mill, the company dismantled it brick by brick and shipped it to its new home in Easthampton, where it was rebuilt on the banks of the Lower Mill Pond. Now, a century later, The Boylston Rooms retains the integrity of the 1814 original mill in every brick and beam. Our rental includes planners and decor at no added cost. Whatever your style, with over 140 pieces of decor, if you can picture it in the space, we can make it happen.

The Log Cabin is a mountaintop venue with lavish grounds and spectacular panoramic views of the valley. Found in the heart of Western Massachusetts, the Log Cabin is easily accessible from major East Coast cities. As well as featuring a beautiful outdoor ceremony site, The Log Cabin features two ballrooms that can accommodate up to 400 guests. For a full outdoor experience, weddings can also be held at the open-air Upper Vista reception tent. Our location comes with a dedicated team of wedding professionals including planners, who are committed to delivering impeccable service to every wedding. Combined with the amenities of sister properties, the D Hotel and the Delaney House will offer a full wedding weekend experience. The D Hotel is a boutique hotel that has 61 hotel rooms. The Delaney House hosts a full service restaurant and private rooms for rehearsal dinners and post wedding brunch.

Our raw venue site sits on the side of a mountain, looking back across our family farm’s valleys, fields, and mountains. The site is located on the mountain across from our farmhouse and the area was made to accommodate a large event tent, it is approximately a 60’x200’ area. In addition to our venue site, we also have multiple possible ceremony locations available. Our farm is only a short drive from beautiful Brattleboro, Vermont, allowing accessible lodging for any guests traveling to help you celebrate your special day. With the help of our local and trusted vendors, we can help you create your Vermont dream wedding with our beautiful family farm as your priceless backdrop.
