Even my mother-in-law who doesn't dance did NOT sit down! I'm Lebanese and my husband is Israeli, so I had asked for help mixing songs to combine our cultures and then move into more western music. I'm still getting sooooo many compliments from our families on how we were able to combine our traditions and our music! And our guests LOST IT when they came out on the dance floor with their instruments and danced with us! I did this in lieu of a zaffet group because i wanted something more unique -- in lebanon a drumline would follow the bride and groom and dance/perform for guests -- and it was definitely the right choice!!! On top of their amazing performance, Marlon was **insanely helpful** both leading up to the day and on the day. I didn't have a wedding planner and was making last minute decisions/timeline changes myself the day of. Everything was perfect, from the rustic façade of the DJ booth to the cocktail hour playlist (which sounded like something we would’ve made ourselves) to the incredible reception music. The dance floor was packed the entire evening — not a single person left on the first shuttle because no one wanted to stop dancing, not even my 91-year-old grandma who stayed until the very end! Marcus did such an amazing job DJing our wedding, we couldn’t be more thrilled. He is extremely thoughtful with his work. He took careful note of my husband and my musical tastes and preferences, as well as the vibe of our wedding, instead of playing a standard tired playlist. Per our request, he blended in some Latin music seamlessly. The dance floor was full and lively all night long, exactly as we had hoped for! He played songs we hadn’t requested but that we love, leaving me wondering how he could have known so well what to play. He also respected our “do not play” list, as I found out multiple guests requested songs on it and he politely declined. Marcus is very thorough and organized which made working with him so easy- he was on top of all the details, order of events/cues, even reviewed proper name pronunciation with us in advance. The event manager at our venue said she loved working with him and was very impressed. Marcus has such a kind and warm personality, and a really special talent- we feel so lucky that he was part of our big day!”

“HiMotive Entertainment & Photobooth did a great job keeping our wedding reception fun and upbeat. While their communication was a bit delayed leading up to the event, they were ultimately effective in executing on the day-of. The DJ kept the party going all night with a good song selection, though they did play 3 Taylor Swift songs in a row at the start, which we would have preferred more variety. The MC's ad-libs got a little overbearing at times, but overall they did a nice job sticking to the schedule and making important announcements. We'd recommend HiMotive to other couples looking for an energetic DJ.”

I thought that a live band for our wedding would be out of our reach, but LPE was so easy to work with and what an incredible value! Our band, LPE Snapshot was incredible and our ceremony musicians were amazing too! The vocalists were high energy and kept the whole event moving. They were great Emcess and they even added some special non-traditional reception activities for us. They were super flexible and played all the songs we asked for- even some very “niche” tracks we asked for during the ceremony. So many of my guests said the band was their favorite part of the reception. I highly recommend LPE entertainment! (I am also a musician myself so I’m very picky!)”
