Before I ever held a camera, as a kid I was obsessed with organizing and reorganizing printed family snapshots in albums. This infatuation with captured moments, led to picking out my first film camera, a 35mm Pentax, film developing and darkroom printing in high school, and then my BFA in Photography Degree. From there, I worked in varied sectors of photography, but my true passion lay in documentary work that could bring about awareness of challenging global situations. I have published and exhibited journalistic series internationally, notably at Oxford University and Aperture Foundation.

I am a native New Yorker and have built a career over the past 26 years as a wedding and special event makeup artist. My first job as a makeup artist with the Laura Geller Makeup Studio catapulted my career. Under Laura’s extensive training and mentoring, I ascended the ranks to become one of her most-requested makeup artists for studio clientele, makeup lessons, weddings, and special events.
