Peter & the Master Keys is not only a great jazz band with vocals, it's also an energetic dance band specializing in the best soul, blues, and rock n' roll from the 50s and 60s plus a few more contemporary numbers to round out the set. Think Sinatra and Nat King Cole early in the night and then Ray Charles, Chuck Berry, Elvis and more later on. The idea is to play fun and energetic music that is timeless and can inspire guests of all ages to dance. We also perform as a trio and quartet for smaller occasions or cocktail parties. Sean Kershaw & the New Jack Ramblers formed in 2001 as a loose collective of musicians from various backgrounds who got together to play country music for fun. By the mid-aughts the band (now firmly centered around Yours Truly, Sean Kershaw) was a well-honed, professional music outfit playing everything from club dates to weddings, festivals and corporate and charity events. A CD, Coney Island Cowboy was released and the band hit the road, touring the East coast, California and Alaska. Sean also toured Australia using local musicians. Fast forward to 2023 the band is going strong, playing monthly gigs in Brooklyn and events everywhere.
