Peter & the Master Keys is not only a great jazz band with vocals, it's also an energetic dance band specializing in the best soul, blues, and rock n' roll from the 50s and 60s plus a few more contemporary numbers to round out the set. Think Sinatra and Nat King Cole early in the night and then Ray Charles, Chuck Berry, Elvis and more later on. The idea is to play fun and energetic music that is timeless and can inspire guests of all ages to dance. We also perform as a trio and quartet for smaller occasions or cocktail parties. Packages include ceremony music, MC, jazz cocktail hour, and dance music.

We're perfect for couples who like the idea of having a top notch jazz band at the wedding but who also want to have more variety thrown in the mix for dancing. We love to play for people of all ages and the mix of music we do always seems to reach across the generations! It's a small operation so you'll get a lot of individual attention and care from the bandleader.

    music makes the difference between a normal wedding and an unforgettable wedding. From our first conversation to the last note that the band played, they were truly unforgettable. The first time we talked, Peter told me that his goal was to get everyone dancing, from the youngest to the oldest. All I can say is that all of my nephews spent the entire night on the floor and the grandmother of the bride got up to share a special moment dancing with her grand-daughter. They were nothing short of outstanding, and I can't speak highly enough about them. If you want a group that is talented, easy to work with, and care about their client, then look no further!

    Peter, along with all the incredible musicians in the band were amazing in every aspect. Before the wedding Peter and I worked through a variety of details and music ideas to create the night we imagined. With complete professionalism, they were on time, set up quick and each band member we met was truly a joy and excited to be there. This came through in the music. Once the party started we danced all night. I had a steady stream of people telling me how incredible the band is and asking, "where did you find these guys?"
