Planning a destination wedding in Cairo, Egypt came with its fair share of complexities. We had guests traveling from all over the world and were trying to blend three cultures - Lebanese, Egyptian, and American. In Egypt, most wedding planners focus only on décor and receptions, so I found myself struggling with the schedule and flow of logistics beyond that. There were so many moving parts - the ceremony, the bridal party, the reception - and I didn’t have a planner or a day-of coordinator to help me execute the day smoothly. Alex stepped in and became my anchor. She gathered every detail and built an hour-by-hour plan that carried us through the day, from getting ready to the end of the night. That included the procession of the church ceremony, the musical cues, the reception entrance order, the dj song list order, etc. She helped me create breakout schedules to give to each vendor so they all knew what part of the day mattered for them to take part in. Alex brought so much understanding and cultural awareness to our wedding. She respected the way that weddings are done in Egypt, Lebanon, and America, and helped me blend certain moments from each tradition into our wedding. Every special moment flowed. I truly couldn’t imagine how the day would have went without her. She gave me peace of mind, comfort, and support that made me feel extremely take care of on the most important day of my life.

I decided to book LVLF for my November wedding at Rancho Las Lomas as my day of coordinator, and I’m so glad I decided to have the team there with me. I seriously didn’t have to worry about a thing the day of our wedding and the team took care of every situation that popped up. They took care of everything from contacting my vendors before the wedding, keeping in touch with vendors, directing guests, helping set up the venue with decor that I brought, and even loaded up cars at the end of the night. They were incredibly organized, thoughtful, and always kept us on track throughout the day of the wedding process and before. One of the highlights of this team is their familiarity with Rancho Las Lomas, they knew what they had to do beforehand and carried everything out flawlessly (especially considering the size of this venue). The team even made sure to carry out the vision that I had in my head, and did a better job than what I could have imagined. They all paid attention to the little details that I even would have missed, this team is truly impressive. Desiree was our coordinator for our wedding this past June, and we would happily recommend her to anyone looking for a day-of wedding coordinator! Desiree made us feel comfortable and confident from our very first meeting with her via Zoom. She seemed knowledgeable about the wedding planning process and was also just super happy for us which made the year leading up to our wedding feel even more special. She was always responsive when we had questions and she absolutely KILLED it on the actual wedding day. She completely handled setup and even did our dinner tablescapes which turned out more beautiful than we could have imagined. We did have one hiccup where there was a miscommunication and Desiree ended up not making it to our venue walkthrough a few weeks before the wedding, but it turned out fine since she already had familiarity with our venue and because we were able to answer all of the venue's questions ourselves. Anyway, this is just a small portion of what we loved about working with Desiree, but it's safe to say we feel great about our choice of wedding coordinator and would definitely go with Desiree if we had to do it all over again.

I've really always enjoyed working with West Events! Their team is always relaxed and yet punctual intentional. I've often seen Alli or Brenda go out of their way and beyond to make someone's day extra special. Not all vendors consistently bring that energy to all their events! I'd highly recommend them for your wedding whether you need day of coordination, planning or some of the amazing florals they craft up. Seriously, their florals are also amazing! 5 stars all around :)
