We had our wedding on January 21, 2023. We were blessed to have our reception at The Venue at the Star Theater in Toccoa, GA. As a renovated historic theater, The Star offers classic vibes with romantic feels as you dance under the string lights. Areas offered are main floor for seating and dancing, stage area which we used for seating for the bridal party and the DJ, as well as the balcony area for seating. One of my favorite parts was the perfect get away / leaving reception area in the rear of the building. It is set up perfectly for guests to send off the happy couple and makes for absolutely beautiful moments captured by pictures or video. Lastly, I can’t say enough good things about the owner operators, Jim and Christy. They really go with you through the journey of finding the best way to set up all of the aspects for your special day - whether it a wedding, reception, or something special occasion. They not only let you know of what has worked well for other events at the venue but are open to trying new set ups and such (of course within reason - no hanging from the ceilings or anything like that!!) I would recommend 10/10.

Planning a rehearsal dinner long distance is not an easy thing to do. I contacted several venues in Dahlonega Ga where my son and his fiancee were getting married. No one would call me back except for Twenty Seven on Park. My future daughter-in-law also recommended them since they had stopped in to see if it was a possible wedding venue. The size was too small for the wedding, but it was perfect for the rehearsal dinner! There was plenty of room to mingle and have various stations for desserts and refreshments. Everyone had a great time and the food was delicious!

When my husband and I started looking for our wedding venue, we had pretty high expectations. We are full-time wedding photographers and most of the venues we have been to are pretty cookie cutter and not at all what we wanted for our own wedding. New Holland has character, charm, and a one-off nature that was exactly what we were looking for. We knew that when we decided to have our wedding after being married already for ten years, it had to be at New Holland. Sophie and Reagan made the experience booking and hosting our wedding effortless. Our entire wedding celebration was unconventional, and because of that, it required a whole lot of coordination with activities and food for our guests that typical weddings don’t necessitate. Sophie and Reagan handled everything the day of the wedding perfectly. It was like one big choreographed dance. I know that without them, our wedding would have been a huge, disorganized embarrassment, and we are so grateful they helped make our day run smoothly so that we could enjoy it. If you’re the kind of bride who is looking for something bespoke and can’t find it at any of the venues you’ve visited so far, I know you’ll find it at New Holland.

The Parker Mill is the absolute perfect venue! The views are spectacular and the services offered made our day so much easier to plan. At every step in our planning process Alexis and Brock were so kind and accommodating with addressing any concerns or questions we had. Everything about our day was beautiful, everything ran smoothly and the spaces the Parker Mill provided were perfect for our needs. If you are considering the Parker mill at all go on a tour! I could not have dreamed of a better venue for my wedding. Everything was PERFECT. Everyone at my wedding could not stop talking about how beautiful everything at the venue was. From the gorgeous bridal/groom suites, to the landscaping, to the ceremony site, beautiful turf area for cocktail hour and the amazing reception space. Even the bathrooms are gorgeous. No detail was missed. Angela and team went above and beyond to make all my dreams and wishes happen. All of my photos are GORGEOUS there isn’t a bad place for a photo here!

The Venue at Falls Park is a gorgeous and intimate location for a wedding, and the included options made for our perfect blend of convenience and DIY personalization. Our coordinator and her team were excellent on the day of our wedding, and her flower arrangements were incredible. She communicated with our vendors and ran a smooth rehearsal - having her venue coordinator services included with the venue allowed the whole family to enjoy the day. However, the communication between us leading up to the event was frustratingly full of errors and added a lot of stress. At the end of the day, we had a beautiful wedding. The venue has a wonderful floorplan and flow, and all the amenities we could have asked for. Having the bridal suite onsite made our timeline very relaxed, and the coordinator clearly has a great working relationship with other vendors in Greenville. The location downtown was great for our guests, and we were able to take photos down by the river. We are so glad we had our wedding at The Venue at Falls Park.
