My husband and I are so beyond pleased with our experience working with TGT. We got married in Nashville, TN this October and began planning about a year in advance from our home in Brooklyn, NY. As we dove deeper into how much of an undertaking this may actually be, we searched for assistance and came upon The Get Together. After our initial call with Lauren, we knew we absolutely would be working together. The business model of month-of-planning-agency is brilliant. It allowed me to pull together all of my big picture plans in advance and with TGT's help to hone everything into realistic expectations in the home stretch - we were able to pull off our dream wedding - within budget! Nothing but positive things to say about the entire team. Their organization, communication, direction, and expertise truly got us through the finish line with flying colors! As a queer couple from the South, we were made to feel extremely comfortable and supported from day one. Major shoutout to Jess, our on-site coordinator for day of - absolutely crushed. She kept me calm while accomplishing everything we had dreamed of in real time. Our wedding party and families felt extremely comfortable having Jess on-site. Thank you for everything, Jess! We are so thankful we found Events in a Crunch as our day of planner for our wedding - Adaobi and her team made the process much easier. We had planned to manage the day-of ourself using friends & family, and we are so glad we didn't! We did the middle package "Crunch Planning" which starts 4 months out. Adaobi helped us manage the budget and find vendors that worked within our budget that still fulfilled our vision of the day. The day of help was tremendous - they worked with the vendors to confirm details, ensuring furniture and games arrived & were set-up as directed. They also made sure the various tables were set-up just as we had laid out. Even the little details like sneakily fluffing my wife's dress just before we walked down the aisle - very appreciated. We loved having Sarah as our wedding planner! We used her as our day of coordinator for our wedding at Rosewood Farms in September. As someone who thought they were an organized person, Sarah exceeded our expectations of what organized looks like. We had our first meeting with her about 6 weeks prior to our wedding day. I went into the meeting feeling nervous and anxious about all the things we had left to do and all the details that still needed to be decided on. Sarah gave us great advice on linens (I’ve never thought about linens in as much detail until I met Sarah lol), timeline, table layout, and all of the logistics throughout the day. We left our first meeting having our entire wedding day timeline planned out from the moment we got to the venue at 8am until we left at 10pm. Safe to say we left that meeting feeling much better and knew that we were in great hands. Fast forward to our wedding day and we can confidently say that it was everything we dreamed of. Sarah executed my vision of what I wanted our reception space, cocktail hour, and ceremony space to look like perfectly. She made sure we were taken care of all day long. She had our cocktail hour food and drinks ready for us right after the ceremony and made sure that we got our preferred drinks right before last call. She kept everything on schedule and I don’t think we had a single hiccup all day long (and even if we did we didn’t know about it). It also helps when all of your vendors have worked together multiple times and get along great. We had such a great team! On top of giving us our perfect day, Sarah is also the sweetest person to work with! She supported our decisions and gave her input and expertise when we needed it. I felt comfortable giving her creative discretion because I felt like she listened and understood my vision in our meetings. I would highly recommend Sarah for any wedding planning services! She is organized, attentive, supportive, hard working, and easy to get along with! I can’t thank her enough for giving us our perfect day!

Shaymah was extremely organized with a very chaotic wedding - chaos due to family drama, etc. While the chaos was stressful, Shaymah was very detailed and thorough with all of the wedding planning, including designing florals and signs completely on her own (great designer too!), and including last minute issues with guest count, etc. She's very sweet, kind and helpful and great to work with! I would recommend her for any type of wedding event. She was also very professional through all of the chaos and made sure that the event went well!

Kaity did a great job, especially considering all the uncertainty of bad weather (my ceremony was outdoors) we had to all deal with. She always had an upbeat and positive attitude the whole time, which I know can be very difficult to do around my family. She definitely would just roll with all the punches to keep us on track. I was anxious the entire day, but Kaity reassured me that she had everything under control and I knew I could trust her. She even went out of her way to get me and my husband little care packages on the day of, with inspiring notes. The only hiccups I actually noticed was with announcements and speeches, because the volume and echo was not great, so people didn't know when things were actually happening, so I wish we could've told the DJ sooner to fix the issue. We had also wanted to have our dinners boxed up, because my husband and I were both too anxious and excited to really eat, so our food ended up being thrown away, plus we didn't receive the top tier of our wedding cake to save for the tradition thing (but my guess is because they served it all to the guests). Unfortunately, at the end of the night, we were super rushed to get everything out of the building, because of the time and the pouring rain- I was running around barefoot in my dress while my husband was passed out in the car, and I was one of the few trying to get everything packed and cleaned up. However, Kaity and her husband really helped us out by collecting all the left items and holding onto them for us until the next day. She kept in contact, since at least a month beforehand, to make sure we had everything in order and sent her all the vendor contacts , so she could be included with all the day-of plans. She really did go above and beyond to make sure I had the best day possible, and I really appreciated that from her. I would definitely hire her again.

We eloped at eighteen years old, were married long distance, and designed, planned and executed our wedding day - or move in party, as we like to call it, since it was at the end of three years of long distance marriage!!

Without Fernie, we aren't sure our wedding would have happened! We hired Fernie as our Day of Coordinator, and met with her several times via zoom to go over details. She reviewed our materials and created a timeline for our day. She asked questions that made us think about details we might have overlooked. She did a site visit with us, ran our rehearsal, and was with us every step of the way on our day. Our wedding did not go as plan, and on the fly we were able to create a back up plan. Fernie contacted all of our vendors, and we all managed to arrive at the location around the same time. Over all, we were lucky to have her on our team!

We would virtually meet on Zoom once a month, but her secret weapon is a web portal that has everything you need to reference from customized timelines, budgeting, photo boards, vendors/contact info, & so much more! It also makes it very convenient to communicate through there. Instead of many emails or text chains about allllll the topics that will arise, you can post thoughts, questions, pictures, links, documents, & more. It will notify Veronica by email that you put something in Aisle Planner & she can read/respond & will get back to you within 24hrs. So although I did the 'virtual' package I never felt like I was alone or like Veronica wasn't there to help (she even video chatted with me at the final venue walkthrough 30 days before the wedding!) Even if you think you don't need help or it's not worth it, I promise that when your mental sanity is dwindling, especially towards the end with everything going on, you will be SOO happy you chose Veronica for either in-person or virtual wedding planning!

Eileen was amazing as our wedding planner / month-of coordinator. Both my husband and I were SO glad we hired her. Eileen helped us make so many decisions during the planning process that led to an extremely smooth wedding day - from where the bar was located to how we processed down the aisle, from whether to do cake or a dessert bar, to when champagne was poured - she really nailed it. She also worked with all of our vendors to coordinate setup and was onsite to help make sure everything was set up correctly & as planned. Everyone jokes that something *always* goes wrong on your wedding day, no matter how much you plan, but really we had nothing go wrong thanks to Eileen! She made our day stress-free! It's also important to call out that our venue wedding coordinator quit a couple of weeks before our wedding, and Eileen stepped up and swooped in to make sure our new point of contact at the venue was fully up-to-speed. Thank god for Eileen! I highly recommend her. And if you're on the fence about needing a wedding coordinator -- just take the leap! SO SO worth it.

I cannot say thank you enough to Steph! She was absolutely amazing. She was so committed to learning what aspects of the wedding were most important to us and making sure they happened on the day of. For example, we were getting caught up in the dancing and were going to skip the cake cutting. She didn’t push, she just asked, “Are you sure? You told me that this was something that was important to you, so I just want to check”. And I’m so thankful she did that, because it’s one of my favorite wedding moments! She went absolutely above and beyond for us. I am currently in medical school and was so stressed leading up to the wedding, but Steph made me feel like it was possible. She was so organized and wrote out every detail we discussed. She went out of her way to suggest some vendors we were struggling to book last minute, and the list goes on. I cannot recommend Steph enough. She is wonderful and sweet and kind and I cannot believe I found her! We could not have done it without her.

I was that person that did not think I needed a wedding planner! I decided last minute I needed one and I had interviewed 4 people and Christena was the only one that made me feel comfortable! Christena helped keep me organized, in control, and confident that I would be able to get through this! She brought things to my attention that I had no clue I needed to do. During the rehearsal dinner she got everyone in line and made sure everyone knew exactly what they were doing. The day of the wedding Christena and her assistant Jill knew literally handled everything from making sure my vision was brought to life, to making sure everything ran accordingly to plan, and making sure all items that were mine were organized and set aside for my family to gather at the end of the night. I cannot sing Christena’s praises enough! You are getting more than a wedding planner with her! If you are on the fence about this do not be, it is the best money well spent!!!
