These days he loves to play locally in his home town where he also teaches guitar at SDSU and is the head of the guitar department as a full-time music professor at Grossmont College. He is equally at home with a variety of styles from classical, flamenco, bossa-nova, and popular fingerstyle music and having grown up in Hawaii, also plays the ukulele.

He has performed for thousands and has shared the stage with Grammy-winning artists such as Sara Bareilles, Sara and Shawn Watkins, and Shawn Colvin. Additionally, he has performed for companies such as Amazon, Space X, Hewlett-Packard, Samsung, Panasonic, Mercedes and many others.

My name is Chuck Hornsby and I'm wedding DJ and MC. I'm very experienced, having done over 1000 receptions and over 300 ceremonies. I feature top quality sound and lighting equipment and always carry back up gear. My song library is incredible. Requests from couples, as well as guests, are welcome and I'm download capable for any song I do not have. My service includes assisting with ceremony coordination and the master of ceremonies duties at the reception.
