Through faith and hard work, Maui born local sensation Derick Sebastian continues to live his dream as an accomplished international ‘ukulele virtuoso. He's shared the stage with singer/songwriter pop star Jason Mraz, the melodic Raining Jane, powerhouse Trombone Shorty, country star icons Thompson Square and Sara Evans, and R&B sensations, Boyz II Men and Brian McKnight, and a highlighted private performance and ukulele lesson with Oprah Winfrey. Derick also has notable performances at many major sporting events and toured full-fledged around the globe, continuing his dedication to inspire lives through his music.

Derick has been playing the ukulele professionally for over 28 years. His faith, dedication and commitment to his gift of music has been second to none. He has taken the ukulele into uncharted waters throughout his musical path, yet remains humble and stays true to himself.
