Aloha! I'm Roman. I've been living on the magical island of O'ahu since I came to UH Manoa in 2009 for my Economics Degree. I got involved with the University radio station (90.1 FM), started doing live events, and really loved showing off my rare music finds. Nothing beats the feeling of rocking a live crowd for track after track, especially after the long pause in events! DJing is all I do for "work", and I love it! Each wedding or event I play is full of different people and different ages from all over the world, and they all have differing tastes in music- blending so many different genres and styles of music is such a fun challenge!

Through faith and hard work, Maui born local sensation Derick Sebastian continues to live his dream as an accomplished international ‘ukulele virtuoso. He's shared the stage with singer/songwriter pop star Jason Mraz, the melodic Raining Jane, powerhouse Trombone Shorty, country star icons Thompson Square and Sara Evans, and R&B sensations, Boyz II Men and Brian McKnight, and a highlighted private performance and ukulele lesson with Oprah Winfrey. Derick also has notable performances at many major sporting events and toured full-fledged around the globe, continuing his dedication to inspire lives through his music.

I play ukulele and guitar as well, and teach music at the University of Hawaii. I am a Na Hoku award winner. My unique specialty is the lovely Hawaiian Lap Steel Guitar. This is beautiful background music for any event with a gentle Hawaiian ambiance. This instrument’s unique sound will immediately transport listeners to the days of old Hawaii with gentle breezes and a relaxed feeling of Aloha. This is the perfect solo instrumental background music for your reception, wedding, cocktails, and dining. Acoustic guitar or ukulele for a wedding ceremony followed by Hawaiian Steel Guitar for a reception is a popular combination.

I love learning what songs are special to you, and making them more delicate and chill for your ceremony. I can sing with tracks, or accompany myself as I play guitar and ukulele. My favorite sets are the ones where I do songs that are special to you, peppered with songs that are special to me, and remind me how much love is needed in this world.

Born into a musical family, Sheryl Renee is an audience favorite, who moves effortlessly between music genres, and artistic avenues and is known as the "Lady with the Golden Voice". Since 1998 Sheryl has been collaborating with Maui's Arts Education for Children Group and Jazz Maui, with appearances at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center, The Lahaina Amphitheater, The IOA Theater, Queen Ka'ahumanu Center, The Ritz Carlton Kapalua, and several Front St venues, but her favorite is Maui's 4th of July fireworks celebration at the Lahaina Library (To date, 7 appearances). She loves working with incredible Maui-based musicians.

Don began playing violin at age five, while living in Karachi, Pakistan. His Rumanian father gave him his first lessons. Continuing his studies, Don attended music conservatories in Paris and Rome, culminating in 1975, when he began exploring music beyond the classical realm. Since then he has performed and recorded with numerous jazz, folk and rock musicians, and also classical. His credits include playing in orchestras for such luminaries as Ella Fitzgerald and Pavarotti. Presently making his home on Maui, Hawai`i, he divides his time between performing, teaching, recording & swimming in the warm ocean.

Joe Cortez is the owner and founder of Next Level Entertainment. He’s experienced with Maui’s top wedding venues, including Olowalu Plantation House, Hyatt Resort & Spa & more leaving him the knowledgeable guide to the ins-and-outs of some of Hawaii’s most popular wedding venues. Joe’s commitment to excellence in his craft has earned him Master of Ceremonies at both Bronze and Silver level, as well as a two-time winner of the Las Vegas Spinmaster competition. Oahu Strings is a professional group of musicians that specializes in providing music for weddings and other special occasions. We perform most often as a string quartet, though for certain venues and event types, a trio or duo might be more appropriate. Over the past 5 years, Mana Music has accomplished many things such as winning Album of the Year in the 2021 Hoku awards, becoming the trusted partners to the top venues in Hawaii, and performing on stage with some of Hawaii’s most famous stars! I have been a singer/ musician for most of my life. I have a deep passion and love for music that is displayed in every event that I play. Alohamike aka, "The Soul Survivor" plays his music on the beautiful island of Maui in Hawaii. He started out playing drums in many bands all over the Islands and even touring the "Mainland" in places like Las Vegas, Phoenix, Aspen, Helena, and Seattle. He is now dazzling audiences by singing and playing his guitar. He is currently performing as a solo musician, in a duet, or playing in his great band depending on your entertainment needs.

I emcee most of my events because that is what I am well known for in Hawaii. I am not over the top but I deliver a smooth, non-intrusive show and program for guests to enjoy. I don’t like to get in the way of the “Life of the Party” I encourage everyone to enjoy themselves and allow them to experience their fun with friends and family. Being in public and having fun with others is not always an easy task for some. But if I can encourage “just one person” to be themselves and don’t worry about what people think about their dancing I feel I did more than make a person dance. I feel like I built their self-esteem.
