“We found Brandon through our wedding planner Christine Garrison of CMG Events. She suggested him because we were interested in having someone play acoustic guitar and singing during the wedding. After chatting with Brandon, we hired him to play the guitar for our ceremony, act as a wandering minstrel during the cocktail hour, and DJ the entire event. Our ceremony took place outdoors in an open lawn area. Brandon did a great job with setting up the sound. Everyone was able to hear both us and the officiant clearly. The acoustic rendition of Heartbeats (Jose Gonzalez) and Wildflowers (Tom Petty) he played for our processional and recessional were beautiful and really set the mood we were looking for. Brandon also did a great job DJing the event. He was able to take a small number of songs and expand the playlist to not only fit our tastes but keep the party hopping. We had expected that we would have minimal dancing and that our crowd would mostly just sit around chatting. However, Brandon was able to keep the energy up and the dance floor going throughout the night. It far exceeded our expectations and made the night really memorable. He was extremely professional throughout the planning process. We had several calls leading up to the wedding, and he made it easy to communicate what we were looking for in the event. We added songs to a few different playlists which he used as a jumping off point. He also provided suggestions for all the important moments (e.g., processionals, recessional, first dance, grand entrance). His contract and other documents were also clear and always sent promptly. On the day of Brandon arrived on time for set up and did a great job with all aspects (sound, DJing, acoustic performance, and lighting) of the event. He looked extremely professional and was communicative throughout the day, constantly checking in with the planner and us to make sure everything was going well. If he wasn’t sure about a song, he’d ask before playing it. Best of all, he was extremely reasonably priced. His assistant, Josh, was also very nice and did a great job.”

Bouquet Sound was fantastic to work with: transparent, quick to respond, flexible, and very reasonably priced. No notes, great experience. DJ Aeron is just next level. He was a blast to work with and a master of his craft. Once we spent about 45 minutes chatting about our shared music (and video game) taste on our intro call, we knew we'd found the right DJ for us. Aeron's MCing style exudes calm and command -- he's an expert and letting people know what's happening and where they need to be while keeping the mood light without putting the spotlight on himself. Aeron is also just an exceptional DJ, full stop. We shared a Spotify playlist with him a few weeks before the wedding to help him understand our general musical vibe, and he crushed it all afternoon and evening. When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. Overall, we would 1000% recommend Direct Entertainment for any wedding entertainment needs! I really appreciated the time and effort he took to insure that no details were missed. We booked a lighting package as well and our ceremony space looked even better than I could have imagined. Joey made sure the ceremony audio was perfect. Everyone could hear the whole ceremony which was really important to us. And when he played cello for our processional and recessional, the sound really filled the space and sounded beautiful. During our cocktail hour he played cello and did some beatboxing, we were so impressed and our guests loved it as well, they were talking about how good he was and how they could hardly believe it was live music. After dinner the dance floor was full the whole night. Even months later we still have people telling us how much fun they had dancing, how great our playlist was, and how much they liked our DJ. If you want your wedding to be classy, romantic, a total rager, and go off without a hitch, I would highly recommend hiring Cello Joe!”

“We had the pleasure of having The Moon Units perform at our wedding, and they were absolutely amazing! We enjoyed working with Dylan, he was incredibly accommodating and responsive throughout the entire process. From the initial planning stages to our big day, Dylan and the band were very professional, helping us sort out all the specific details well in advance. One of the highlights was when they specially learned a song for our first dance. It was such a personal touch that made the moment unforgettable. They also performed a beautiful acoustic rendition of "Can't Help Falling in Love" for our ceremony, which was perfect. They kept the energy high and the good vibes all night long. Not just a DJ who sets up an iPhone or Spotify and lets it ride mindlessly, but a DJ who reads the crowd, takes input from the bride and groom, and uses his skill and best judgement to provide music that gets everyone on the dance floor. Literally everyone at our wedding was on their feet for dancing and loved all the music DJ Trey played! He also was fantastic in making sure all of the music played on their appropriate cues and was well-prepared. He was great to work with for our wedding and we can’t wait to throw another party just so we have an excuse to use DJ Trey again!”

“We found Tiger on Zola really early on in our wedding planning process and knew we had to reach out. We really wanted a DJ that felt different, less cheesy, that could help us create a vibe of a house party with all our friends versus a wedding ballroom. Luckily for us, he had plenty of experience with our venue and we quickly realized Tiger would be one of our vendors we didn’t have to worry about. He played vinyl during our cocktail hour, helped create the most seamless ceremony, added personal touches as our MC, and gave us the greatest dance floor we could have asked for. Super easy to work with, and most importantly we knew we could trust him with our night. If you’re thinking about booking Tiger, just do it, don’t look anywhere else. I said “this is the best night of my life” to anyone who would listen about 15 times during our reception”
