Arch Street Meeting House is a historic wedding venue located in Old City Philadelphia. The land on which Arch Street Meeting House stands was officially deeded to the Quakers in 1701 and used as a burial ground until 1872. The building was constructed in stages from 1803-1811 when need arose of a larger Meeting House in Philadelphia. The site is still an active place of worship in addition to being used as an educational museum space, and was designated a National Historic Landmark in 2011. It is frequently rented for conferences, weddings, dinners, and graduations. The building sits on just shy of 2 acres, and our grounds include both grassy & brick spaces and lots of mature trees. The entire site exudes an overall historic charm.

Our restaurant can seat 80 or host a standing cocktail reception for 150. FringeArts can accommodate up to 200 guests for a seated dinner in their space. The two spaces are separated by a moveable air wall. We can host a ceremony and cocktail hour in the restaurant and in Haas Biergarten right outside, and then open the wall to reveal a dining room space in the FringeArts theater. Situated on the property is a beautiful 1800’s Farmhouse, bank barn, granary, and other farm buildings. When the building was initially constructed over a century ago, it was designed as a Presbyterian chapel in a completely different location. Dismantled and purchased in 1907; the remaining materials were moved to its current home. Today, it has a capacity of 120 guests and can comfortably host both intimate and extravagant celebrations.

Here you will find a pool table, TV, lounge seating area & more. In 2020 we built our Harvest Barn attached to the Seed Barn through a breezeway.
