“One of the most important components to me for our wedding was the flowers. I chose Poppy Flowers because of the look I wanted for the ceremony and reception and with the lower minimum cost required compared to other florists. We went with a pastel theme given we had a spring wedding. I had countless complements on the centerpieces at the reception – they were gorgeous. They were the perfect match for elegant look I wanted. My bouquet and my husband’s boutonniere were also beautiful and what we were expecting. The website was a little glitchy for me in a couple of instances (the IT people had to address the issues) – hopefully they have all of those issues resolved now. Katy took great care to try and learn what my vision was for the wedding and how to use her expertise to create what I wanted. From our initial consult via Zoom all the way through the post-event clean up, Becca was a total dream of a vendor--always extremely professional, responsive, and accommodating. She knows her product and is passionate about sustainability and ethical sourcing, both of which were important to us (especially in light of how wasteful weddings have the potential to be). Becca was able to work within our budget and identify areas where we could save money but still have the look we wanted. She created a beautiful piece that hung from our chuppah as well as an enchanted tablescape for our backyard wedding. We wanted something that would last a little longer than the typical ephemeral wedding flowers, so we worked with Becca to create a small "take home" plant gift for each guest (either an air plant or succulent) that worked well as part of the tablescape. I love visiting friends and family and seeing these little plants thriving in their new homes. Overall, I can't recommend Becca highly enough!”

“I had the most beautiful bouquet for my City Hall civil ceremony, but no firm plans for the bouquet post-wedding. My florist friend shared Jackie's contact information with me and I contacted her to see if she had the capacity for a last-minute bouquet preservation. Luckily, she had availability and a few hours later, I was taking an impromptu day trip to Cold Spring with my husband. Jackie met us at the station and was so incredibly kind. She gave us a few suggestions of eateries to check out while we were in town. We had a symbolic ceremony a week later and I was so pleased with the service received with my first bouquet, that I asked Jackie to preserve that bouquet as well. Throughout both bouquet preservations, Jackie was very responsive and answered any questions I had. She shared a layout of both bouquets prior to framing and packaged up both frames nicely, with bags, (this is a big deal when you're taking the train) when we returned to Cold Spring for pickup.
