“We hired Dan for our November 2021 wedding about 18 months out (I like lots of time to slowly plan). When we started to interview photographers, Dan was very communicative. We had a wonderful phone call where he answered my dozens of questions, and we learned we had the same alma mater! Based on the phone call/email exchange and his portfolio, we hired Dan. Throughout the whole process, from hiring to delivering the final product, Dan was patient, accommodating, understanding, and very professional. His quality of work is phenomenal. We're thrilled with our photos; they're stunning. He is thorough in making sure he understands your needs for the wedding day, the flow of the day, and what pictures are important for him to capture. As the wedding day got closer, we checked in a few times to review those items. Dan was always receptive to my questions. Because the business is just Dan, the whole experience feels more intimate and special than if working with a larger photography business. He let us know the timeline of delivering our wedding photos, and he stuck to it. We booked during one of the busier times of year, so our timeline was 6 – 8 weeks, and he delivered as promised. Something I appreciate about Dan’s work is that he takes hundreds/ thousands of photos, but he doesn’t just give you a link to all of them you have to sift through 2,000 photos. He curates your wedding portfolio, culling out all the duplicates/not good ones, and gives you a beautiful package of edited photos. This is general advice to apply to anything, but if there is a specific type of photo you want, let your photographer know; no one is a mind-reader, including your photographer. I had some very specific (non-traditional) requests and Dan worked with me and our wedding party to accommodate those, weather permitting. He was always on board with my photo requests and making sure he understood what I wanted, and I really appreciated his enthusiasm and care. Also, not all photographers take time to do this during the wedding, but Dan went around to our guests’ tables to take photos of them, which was a wonderful gift to us to have more photos of our loved ones. Choosing a wedding photographer is understandably stressful; it was for me. The options are endless, and I spent hours/days researching dozens and dozens of photographers, and I had classic anxiety about making the perfect or “right” choice. Hopefully, I can save someone else the rabbit hole or researching: Dan was/is excellent. I think his price point is very competitive, and you will be glad you hired him; we absolutely are.”

Hey there! I’m Aubrey, your friendly Delaware County photographer. I’m a classic car loving, Janis Joplin humming newly turned thirty something (gulp!). I am Mama to three wild boys and wife to a pretty rad redhead. Photography and the printed image are things that I hold close to my heart, right next to leather jackets, fuzzy dogs, vinyl records, and cheetah print everything. All of this nonsense information about me might not seem important, but trust me, it is. Your photographer should be more than just a somebody who knows their way around a camera— they should be a friend you jive with.

I love, love. And yes, that is cliche to say as a wedding photographer who literally makes a living telling your love stories through photos. But heres the thing: if I didnt, I’d be a terrible photographer. So, be glad, right? Kidding aside, every wedding I walk into is like a dopamine boost. No two weddings are ever the same and I love the differences in all of your stories. I pride myself on getting to know my couples personally and on a deeper level. We become actual friends. I want to know all your quirks and idiosyncrasies that make you who you are.

“When I say I searched high and low for a photographer with vintage style editing like Tara, I mean it. I spent months and months looking. She was always on my radar but was unfortunately booked for our date. After lots of contemplation and talking it over with Tara, we decided to go the route of having a “sub” photographer shoot the day and then Tara would do the editing herself. WOW did that work out for the best. The photographers that came for day of were two INCREDIBLE ladies, one I was highly considering when I found out Tara was booked, the other is now my business brand photographer. I brag all the time about how I was lucky enough to get the “dream team package”. It was like 3 for the price of one. As much as I would have loved to have Tara there on that day, I’m truly thankful for how she made it work in the best way possible. 10/10 recommend Tara!”

On top of that Ashley and Rebecca were able to take the pressure off of couples portraits before the wedding by creating a unique, intimate, striking, outdoor day-after location shoot. This allowed us to enjoy the run up to our wedding with minimal disruptions and gave us a portrait shoot that exceeded our expectations. “I truly had the dream team with Ashley, Michelle, and Ashley on my wedding day. Communication is a huge thing for me when it came to planning the wedding and they always responded in a timely manner and worked with my husbands crazy schedule. On our wedding day Ashley was with the ladies and I during getting ready, while Michelle had to handle the guys, I say handle because they’re a handful especially once my dad is thrown into the mix. (You know the sos button on your phone… yeah my dad bumped that and the state cops showed up…. Oops.) but Michelle did amazing with them. We had a first look and then did our family photos and they did a wonderful job getting the kids attention (3 kids under 2). During our ceremony I had no idea they were even there, they really do just blend in to the scene. During cocktail hour Ashley took some precious photos of us with our son that I know I’ll cherish forever. They even took us out for some nighttime portraits before the left for the night. I highly recommend working with Ashley and her team !”
